| You know what the definition of "perfect pitch" is?
When you can toss a banjo in a dumpster and never hit the sides.
(I shouldn't say that as I built a banjo.....errr....canjo.) _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

A drummer. You know how to confuse a drummer? Show him the sheet music.

Show him sheet music!
On an unrelated note, did anyone else get hit up for money by someone from Tempest, or was it just me being lucky again? _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

Did you get a pm on here, or facebook? I been seeing a ton of facebook posts from Mick trying to get people to buy his entire digital discography to help fund him or his new musical project. But I didn't get any personal messages. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Who expects that? I don't want sheet music thrown at me.

It was a PM on Facebook asking for money for a bus ticket back to California. Perhaps he really needed the help, but it seemed weird seeing that he and I are not close.

| You have to love inept politicians!
So, we had some teens in mine and the neighbor's yards the other night after 10 PM. They tried my truck doors but they were locked. They tried my neighbor's shed. She confronted them with a butcher knife in hand. We observed the house where two of them returned to. Yesterday, we made a police report. All done, right?
Well, we started a topic on a local Watertown site to get people to watch out in their neighborhoods for any suspicious activity. A couple of police officers even chimed in. Even the mayor got involved.
We're all discussing what time the curfew is (the mayor doesn't know). We talked about rights as gun owners about when you can and cannot use deadly force. What does the mayor talk about? Whether we are calling a certain street "Bryan" or "Bryant". While it is important if you ever have an arrest warrant for someone, that is about the most inept thing I have ever heard in this situation. People want to know their family's, their property, and their belongings are safe from any miscreants who may have mischief and shenanigans in mind. What does the mayor think we are concerned about? The blessed "t" or absence thereof on a street sign. I think I am going to write myself in on the next election.

It was a PM on Facebook asking for money for a bus ticket back to California. Perhaps he really needed the help, but it seemed weird seeing that he and I are not close. I had been following some of his posts and it looked like he had moved out of state and moved in with some girl he barely new (or had met on the internet) and she kicked him out after a few days leaving him homeless. Crazy stuff, I think it made him desperate for money. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

At first I thought someone was spamming his FB trying to get people to send "him" money. I later realized it WAS him and he was serious. I feel this was tacky and not cool at all.

| Why is it when people trash Jesus and Christians on a public forum and you make a friendlybstand without accusing anyone if anything that you are theninly one preaching? I get tired of the double standard in this so called free nation that respects the beliefs of everyone except those who proclaim Jesus. I know it has to be that way from reading His word, but it doesn't make it easy to stomach. You speak the truth as gently as you can and walk away feeling like never speaking again even though you know you cannot be silent. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I've had 5 monumental weekends in a row. I had a graduation ceremony for my school in the middle of June, then got to visit Old Nemaska (the former location of a Native settlement, now summer cottages - not many white folk get to go there) the next weekend, then bought a car the first weekend of July, then on the 10th at 1 AM officialized a relationship with a certain wonderful lady, then yesterday got baptized in an inflatable slide/kiddie pool. My Creator is being really good to me, and I don't know why, but I sure am thankful for His gifts to me. I deserve none of this, and yet in his grace he's decided to let things go swimmingly well for me for now. | |

| Thus concludes my summer travel schedule. I've done a long weekend with the Mrs. for our anniversary, a stateside mission trip to Ohio, and overnight run for a wedding in Kentucky and lunch the next day in Missouri, and now a weekend retreat with my youth group.
Needless to say, I am about ready to go back to school. I report on Friday and school starts here on August 1.
