might see Stryper for my 1st time

Yes, I'm a Stryper virgin.  
They're playing close to me in September for only 25 bucks a ticket. I really wanna go, but it's still up in the air.  Though my wife is successfully settling into her new job (after being laid off a few weeks back) -but money's tight as they don't offer Healthcare, so she has to pay for her own.
Also, as everyone know, I'm preparing to go on disability real soon. And finally, I have no one who'd go with me.  I don't mind going alone (seen many bands alone in the past), but it's a 2 hour drive and I can't be behind the wheel for more than 15 minutes.... sooooo, we'll see...
I really really wanna see the legends of Christian rock before I die, or before they die...

Sounds to me like a perfect opportunity for a CHM road trip destination party!

My first one was FREE! To Hell With The Devil Tour! Got comp tickets and met Tim and Robert the afternoon before the show with my youth group.

Sweet!  I think THWTD was $12 or $15.  I can't remember which.

I've never seen the band live either.  Need to catch them when/if they come back around to Seattle.

I've been to 4 Stryper concerts - IGWT tour, twice in 2003 (they opened thier reunion tour in my hometown!) and in Seattle in 2009 (I think).

I missed a more recent Seattle concert because I couldn't afford the tickets (or the gas to Seattle).  Funny, that exact same night, Earth, Wind & Fire played a private concert for Barack Hussein Obama at the White House.  And I paid for THAT concert.

I have only seen them once before. I had plans to see them a second time but Hurricane Katrina came along and cancelled it.

I had hoped to catch them for the first time last Nov but the show was canceled.

Somewhat annoyed I missed Rush's 40th Ann tour. I've not been to a secular show in well over a decade, but was just musing with the wife how it may be cool to see Rush again (they may technically have been our first date).

I've probably seen them 8 or 9 times over the years, including when they were on their first tour when they stopped in Houston.
