Anyone taking advantage of the Memorial Day sales at Girder or Roxx? If so, what are you ordering?

While I never got into the Altar Boys the first go around, I am buying the new "Gut Level Music" reissue. I also am getting their "When You're A Rebel" CD as well. I got both for $16.25 from Girder. I also ordered Steve Taylor & The Perfect Foil for $11.04. I also had a 15% off coupon code. With standard shipping, I got all three discs for $27 and some change. That's around $9 each for new CDs. I just wanted to try something different.

I was incorrect. Thise 3 CDs were only $25 and some change. That's just a little over $8 each!

I still need to order Eternal Ryte from Roxx and I have been saying that since it was reissued years ago. Still haven't gotten around to it yet, maybe on the next 30 % off sale.

I took advantage of the CMD sale and got the Reign cd. With the discount it was like getting free shipping (plus a little more off).

I went ahead and ordered Eternal Ryte, not bad, less than $9 for a double disc plus 3 shipping... And something else that encouraged me? Free stuff! For details on free stuff watch the video (I don't wanna give it away but if you don't wanna watch the whole thing FF to 9:25 or so).

Alan Boyd and I go back a ways. I had the privilege of filling in on bass for one of their gigs.

Got an e-mail yesterday that it has shipped. Considering it is coming from California cross country to Florida I don't expect my shipment until Monday. Sat would be nice but we will see. I ordered Eternal Ryte and asked for the freebie mentioned in the above video but it isn't showing as part of my shipment :/ no big deal if it doesn't come at least I will have a decent sounding copy of Eternal Ryte.

Mine were supposed to arrive today but alas, they weren't in the box. Sad panda.
Alan's new project is called Refuge. I haven't heard anything on what they're doing after they recorded their demo.

Mine came in today (Saturday). Looks like G/F might be the winner...but if he got his from CMD it probably only traveled about 50 miles.

Mine was scheduled to arrive on Sat but didn't. Probably today. It's a long way from Southern California to Florida.

Again another "in-state" delivery. From CMD to you couldn't have been more than 400 miles (I'm guessing).

Yup, Google says ~370 miles.
I've been listening to that Signum Regis basically nonstop. I love it!

So it looks like I might have been the first "out-of-stater" to get my delivery.

I tracked my package online and it said "delivered" so it will be there when I get home... However, with Father's Day right around the corner it very well could have been highjacked and put away. My wife does this ALL the time around any birthday or holiday. If that's the case I won't get it til Father's Day.

^Ha, that happened to me once. I had bought a CD sometime before Christmas, my parents intercepted it, wrapped it, and gave it to me Christmas morning...

I have heard you mention this before (and I remember it almost happened with a cd I sent you). I think it's hilarious...because it doesn't happen to me.
