| This has been a long road and a long-time coming... and we're still not "there" yet.
I finished all 2,400+ pages, burned a Master Disc and mailed everything to Doug Van Pelt last October. He has been waiting for someone to respond to his request to publish this. We hooked up with Bill Bafford from ROXX Productions and he is really interested. Another Master Disc was created and mailed out to Bill. Mr ROXX himself is VERY interested in publishing this work and is currently discussing it with DVP.
PLEASE pray that this happens (and that all my work won't just end up sitting on a shelf), not just cuz it's a cool metal magazine, but most importantly that the articles on Biblical topics, evangelism, and doctrine are made available on a DVD-R. This is what's all ultimately about anyways.

Of course he can. And don't call us Shirley. Actually, I think he was calling himself Shirley ... he was just typing too fast and forgot some of his punctuation. Which also explains why he misspelled his own name! - Staybrite wrote:

Surely you agree? | |

| Shirley I would love to have a copy of this, considering I Shirley have never even owned a single copy of this magazine.
edit: I just went back and looked at your website and I must Shirley say WOW. You are a stickler for details. No way would I have ever gone and copy and pasted over creases in the magazine cover. Phenomenal!

| Thank you. I do take pride in my work. It all started with a friend I worked with who had professional photos done of his band from the early 80s. He scorned a woman and she tore the pictures up in several pieces. He knew I was an artist and asked if I could digitally restore the torn up pix. It was my first paying gig and I did a really good job (could never tell they were shredded !). At that point I began editing pix for a lot of people. I loved doing it- until I was about 3/4ths through with HM magazine... now I never wanna edit pix ever again -oy vey!! I wound up with tendinitis, blurry eyes, mouse clicker finger-itis, and migraines.
So when I finished the last page, I said I was done for good ! That was when I got an email from an associate of Doug VAN pelts who wanted me to edit some stuff for him... I said sorry, I'm done !! Haha

| I'm pretty proud of my first job I ever did in digital repairing. The following 3 pics were torn by an angry woman... they were the only copies of their kind left after all these years -so my buddy (the youngest mariachi dude there) was devastated. Here's the pix: I would flip the pic upside-down and tape it best I could. Scan it, then get to work same way I did every page of Heavens Metal. Crude tape job:
