| I lost interest in the first two Titanic albums because it all sounded so repetitious and the vocalist lost me. When I first sampled this album, it sounded like more of the same. I'm not a big fan of Bill Menchen. However, I went and sampled it again the other day, and in addition had the opportunity to hear Dead Man's Bones on a comp sampler, and decided that I needed to hear this album, so I bought it from CDBaby. It arrived today. This thing smokes! The vocalist is markedly better in my opinion. Simon Tyler had a great voice for this style of music; it just wasn't my taste. This new guy is much better in my opinion. The other thing I like about this album is the variety in tempo. Another complaint about the first two records is that they were all mid-paced. This album has some slower, almost bluesy tracks, several mid-paced songs, and some barn burners. Its a very enjoyable listen. I'm glad I picked this up! | |

I'm right there with you. I could not get into the previous albums (still can't). But the new album is a major step up, all around. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Definitely a step up vocalwise. I still find that his songwriting lacks major hooks and can be highly repetitive. A good album nonetheless. | |

| While I did like the first two Titanic releases, this one does blow them out of the water. This is still my favorite release for the year. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Man, the song "Upon the Cross" sounds a lot like Mission of One's "Role of Harlots". In fact, the whole Titanic album sounds very much like Chris' "Show Me The Way" record. | |

| If only mine had the same clarity of sound....... I will have to listen to that "Upon The Cross" song. I've never really noticed any similarities to the new Titanic and Mission Of One.

| Gotta say that Full Steam Ahead is much their best release. The first one was good, but some of the songs weren't that catchy. The second had better music but vague lyrics. The third has great songs, great lyrics and an awesome vocalist.
Upon The Cross is my favourite track!

| Shovel The Coal's hook has been stuck in my head since I first listened to this album. That song rules! This whole album is just killer melodic heavy metal! | |
