PostSubject: Titanic question.   Titanic question. I_icon_minitimeSat Mar 13, 2010 2:54 pm

Tried to order some Titanic CDs and saw three new Titanic CDs.
"Maiden Voyage", "Screaming In Silence" and "Wreckage".
I would like to know if "Wreckage" is a remastered version of "Maiden Voyage" and "Screaming In Silence"".
Or is it "Wreckage" the third CD of Titanic with complete other songs on it than their two previous CDs?

Why I ask it is there's no need to order "Wreckage" if this CD has the same songs on it as the previous two Titanic CDs.

"Wreckage" is actually a greatest hits type project with songs from all three of the other Titanic projects. I don't think that there were any new songs exclusive to this project on it to get hardcore fans to buy this.

I would pass on that one.

I'm amazed now.
Is there a third Titanic CD?
What's the titel of the CD and does this CD sound better than the other two CDs.

The third (and by far, the best) Titanic CD is called Full Steam Ahead. I think it was released in 2006 or '07. Maiden Voyage is okay. Screaming in Silence, to me, was dreadful.

FOJ, you should hear the new versions of "Screaming In Silence" and "Maiden Voyage". Robert Sweet's drumming adds a whole new dimension to those projects. Of course, if the vocalist turned you off, then you may still not like these. But, if you like the singer, then these new versions are WAY better now that they have a real drummer and not a machine.

Vonnie, Titanic has released:

Maiden Voyage (1996, I think. Released later on Retroactive)
Screaming In Silence (2002 Retroactive)
Wreckage (best of, Retroactive, had a couple of preview tracks that would appear on Full Steam Ahead))
Full Steam Ahead (2007, Retroactive)
Maiden Voyage (Collector's Edition w/Robert Sweet on drums, 2010, Retroactive)
Screaming In Silence (Collector's Edition w/Robert Sweet on drums, 2010, Retroactive)

I was going to say that I thought you had it. The sound is different because of the change in singers. I DO hope that Bill does another Titanic album with this guy on vocals.

You are right, I have "Full Steam Ahead".
Now I am looking forward to listen to the new Titanic CDs with no drum machine, but with Robert Sweet.
