| Been mucking around today thought I'd write a song for their next album, (which we've called 1912).
The song's called "Is This Titanic Doomed?" It has a similar sound to "Upon The Cross."
It’s time to board the ship to sail, Across the sea to port, It’s 1912 and without fail, The charts they have been sought. The course is planned, the way is set, The prayers are said lest we forget, The shout is made there’s no regret, It’s time to sail the sea.
Across the sky the sun does shine, The maps do show the way, And following the preset line, This course we’re set to stay. The final call to sail does sound, The pistons in the depths do pound, We leave behind the solid ground It’s time to sail the sea.
And so we sail into the night, Not knowing of our fate, The cry goes up and there in sight, An iceberg sits in wait. A mighty crash we can but think, As slowly the ship starts to sink, Are we alone, and on the brink, is this titanic’s doomed?
Is this titanic doomed? Is this our final breath? Is this the way the people die? Is this the call of death?
Nearer, still my God to Thee, The notes do float up high And heading for eternity, The crew do wait to die. As bodies disappear below, Some rise up to the One they know, And then forever onward go. For they are never doomed.
Is this titanic doomed? Is this our final breath? Is this the way the people die? Is this the call of death?
Is this titanic doomed? Is this our final strife? Is this the way the people die? Is it the call to Life? _________________ My Christian Metal Website......... Silence Is Madness

| I think you should contact Bill Menchen and talk to him about a collaboration. I think those lyrics would fit their theme/style very nicely. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

SONG 2 LAST SHIP HOME
I planned to take the last ship home, enjoy life while I can, but then I found the last ship's gone, and my life's overran. I'm now upon a different ship, that's ticket's one way bound, and it's too late to get a grip, for I sail underground. - I see a lake of fire, - and I am stuck on board. - I want to go up higher, - but I never sought the Lord. - I see a lake of fire, - and I am stuck on board. - I want to go up higher, - but I never never ever sought the Lord. - I missed the last ship home. - I missed the last ship home. And here I sit upon the deck, my mind does see those lies, the chance I had, that chance is gone, and no chance for reprise. It's fire and darkness everywhere. I hear a haunting voice. 'You may think that this isn't fair, but you did have a choice.' - I see a lake of fire, - and I am stuck on board. - I want to go up higher, - but I never sought the Lord. - I see a lake of fire, - and I am stuck on board. - I want to go up higher, - but I never never ever sought the Lord. - I missed the last ship home. - I missed the last ship home. -------------------------------- SONG 3 AT THE HELM
The weather's closing in, and the waves are riding high. The passengers are nervous for, they think it's time to die. - But the captain knows the weather, - and His line is straight and true, - and there's nothing, never ever, - that He cannot get us through. - He's in control. - At the helm. - Heading for - The h'venly realm. - In control. - Of your soul. Reliably secure, The captain He commands, and now we see the shore, we're on eternal sands - But the captain knows the weather, - and His line is straight and true, - and there's nothing, never ever, - that He cannot get us through. - He's in control. - At the helm. - Heading for - The h'venly realm. - In control. - Of your soul.
--------------------------------
SONG 5 THE HARBOUR
Cross the sea of trouble, And come by the rocks of fear. See a light, so far away, That’s slowly getting near. Do not lose the battle, As the waves crash in the night. Set your sail for straight ahead. The harbour is in sight.
The harbour. It comes into view. The harbour. It’s light guiding you.
Through the straight of terror, You can see the harbour gate. Sailing through the roughest seas, You must not hesitate. Keep the watch out all the night. The time that’s left is short. Follow through the narrow way, And journey to the port.
The harbour. It comes into view. The harbour. It’s light guiding you.
The harbour. It comes into view. The harbour. It’s light guiding you.
So come and moor. (So come and moor). This place pristine. (This place pristine). The peaceful shore. (The peaceful shore). The quiet scene. (The quiet scene).
Come and relax in the harbour………….
--------------------------------
SONG 5 RISE
The velvet sea which glistens from, the moonlight overhead, then starts to churn in torment as, it’s bringing forth it’s dead. The souls of many men from times, long lost in myth they’d lain, have heard their Master calling and, it’s time to rise again. And slowly from the depths they rise, no fear or dread is in their eyes, Their necks crane back to greet the skies, it’s time to rise again. Their bodies once emaciated, now the King has recreated, perfect bodies for the reign. The dead do rise again. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiise! Let us join, in the levitation of the men, who have turned, with no hesitation, born again! For the one, critical relation, is the Son. Let, them, rise! Let them rise! This night the sea gave up the dead The lost men look and shake, so many things were changing now, the dead they were awake. Ascending in the skies were souls, to count them much to vast, They heard a shout from up above, There came a trumpet blaaaaaaaaaast And slowly from the depths more rise, no fear or dread is in their eyes, Their necks crane back to greet the skies, it’s time to rise again. Chorus
Talk…. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
--------------------------------
SONG 6 RIDE THE STORM
The bell, it tolls. The waves roll high. The mares of death, howl ‘time to die.’
The wind whips strong, and sailors shake. The creaking beams begin to break. Drop the sails down to the deck. Visions of a future wreck. This day’s nothing like the norm. Here does scream the violent storm. Jumping ship is not the best, turn in to Mary Saleste. Now there is no chance of rest, So ride the storm tonight. Ride, ride, ride the storm. Ride the storm tonight. Ride, ride, ride the storm. Ride the storm tonight. The howl above, and rage below, they will not last, for peace’ in tow.
There’ll soon be land; a place to moor. Tranquility! That h’venly shore.
--------------------------------
SONG 7 OUT OF THE DEPTHS (PSALM 130)
Oh Lord, out of the depths I cry, and there I wait for your reply. Please hear me now, and listen to my voice. The state that I would soon be in, if You did act on all my sin. Oh thank You Lord, that that was not Your choice.
You chose forgiveness. Yes, it’s true! And now my soul does wait on You. I fear You Lord. In You alone I’ll cope. Redemption comes abundantly. It saves from my iniquity. For in the Lord is mercy and is hope.

| Yes, from time to time......... Here's four........
This is done in country/blue grass/gospel sort of style....
I'VE A MANSION UP IN HEAVEN
Got no mansion on this planet. Got no wealth to help me by. But oh I do know for certain, I’ve a mansion in the sky. Where the light is always shining and the streets are made with gold. When all time is not a captor, for no one is getting old.
I’ve a mansion up in heaven. I’ve a mansion with the Lord, and no treasure on this planet, can match up to that reward.
While I’m try to be quite holy; try to tread the steps He trod, I do look towards the future, when I worship Him as God. And yes there we all shall gather, as a great and joyous throng, with our hands all raised in worship, and our voices sing a song.
Chorus
Do not fear the darts of Satan, for the battle it is won. Yes, the loser is the Devil, and the winner is God’s Son. And if you do serve the Saviour, and you know His words are true, do rest assured without a doubt, there’s a mansion there for you.
Chorus -------------------------------------
Here's another.....
I STAND AMAZED
I stand amazed and breathless, at God's wondrous love and grace, both gushing down in torrents, over all the human race.
A grace so true and perfect, that comes from the heights above. A grace which comes to sinners, and is coupled up with love.
A love without a limit, that's so awesome and sublime. Much deeper than the oceans, and outlasting space and time.
This love from God, the Father, and His grace do reign supreme. They're infinite in measure, like an ever flowing stream.
---------------------------------------------------
TWO ARMS
Just the thought! God sent His Son! To bring sin to an end. And Jesus cried: “THY will be done.” Oh, can we comprehend? That way so cruel, upon a cross, to break death at the grave. To die, so no one’s at a loss. Two arms outstretched to save.
He died for all, because men fall. Alone, we cannot stand. So kneel and pray! The only way, to see the Promised Land.
He died for men, both shy and brave, The perfect Son, His life He gave. So let the people always crave, To seek those outstretched arms that save.
---------------------------------------------------
THANK YOU FOR THE LOVE
No, the words they never come, 7 when I stand before the throne, 7 there in awe my mind goes numb, 7 for a phrase is never known, 7 to express in such a way, 7 (and in words that man can say), 7 Oh Lord thank you for the love You show to me. 11
Yes, the words that leave my tongue, 7 are so shallow and so poor, 7 and my greatest song that’s sung, 7 is so small and insecure, 7 to express a song to sing, 7 to the loving, living King. 7 Oh Lord thank you for the love You show to me. 11
And the thanks and praise that’s thought, 7 while I meditate on you, 7 in it’s worth is almost naught, 7 for I hardly have a clue, 7 how to thank the saving Son, 7 for the work that He has done. 7 Oh Lord thank you for the love You show to me. 11 _________________ My Christian Metal Website......... | I see that you number lines as well to measure both the syllables and meter of the rhyme. I also do that.
Mind if I take a couple of those and work on them? I don't really get the feel of the country/bluegrass stuff. I would be thinking more in the Third Day/Building 429/Kutless worship vein. I have 4 or 5 songs in this vein that I did not do this time around. My next CD could be already planned out this way.

| Hi alldat,
Yes, that's fine, you can work on any of them, and change whatever you feel would help.
The 'Mansion' song, was inspired by a Gaithers CD I've got lurking in my collection. One of the songs was a real up beat number with a good bit of emotion in it, and I tried to write something similar. The last couple of lines of it don't work at all though, but I haven't really tried to make it fit better as yet.
Regarding the syllables and meter of the rhyme, yes I do that on all my recent songs/lyrics (maybe the last 100 or so), although the three I wrote today I haven't checked to see how they work, but will do before I print them.

Actually, I've already started. I had a couple of ideas that I tried with the electric guitar, but I want to strip it back to just the acoustic to really build the vocal melodies. Then, I can add the elecric parts. It worked on my new CD, so I think it can work with your tracks. Just think--a new CD with three songs co-written with you, one co-written with Tall Tyrion, and the rest by me. That will give me a chance to really work on the music and try to match the music to the mood of what other people have written. It think it will be a good musical experience for me. Hopefully, both you and TT will enjoy what I do with your lyrics.

| What a cool idea to make a new album with lyrics written by Fundy, Tall Tyrion and Alldat. On this way the lyrics who are written can be used. That is not a Mission Of One CD but a Mission of Three. Keep us informed about this idea. | |

Calling it values clarified Also known as homicide Who are you to make 'em die Who are you to stop their cry
Pro-choice but nothing of the sort It's another way to abort Who are you to make the choice Who are you to stop baby's voice
You want to make sure he dies So get ready to euthanize Who are you to kill the old Who are you to make 'em cold

Man On The Run
Hiding from God's face Because they're ashamed They're causing a disgrace Already they feel blamed Escaping from justice Fugitives run away And they surely missed The resurrection day
Chorus: Man on the run Can't flee the Son Confess the crime Don't waste your time
It will never succeed God Almighty's too strong But don't beg and don't plead He will forgive all wrong Own up to trespasses He'll give you the key This is news for the masses It will make the blind see
Chorus
Mercy is hard to find The world won't forgive Give God your soul and mind Only then will you live Don't turn your back on God For you'll be nowhere fast Sin isn't to applaud But God's grace will last
Chorus
