| A couple weeks ago my girlfriend and I watched this Argentinian movie she really likes. Someone had failed to return the DVD on time so we rented the VHS. I had to rent a VCR too. I think the total cost to rent both was $2.10 or something like that. | |

- What a weekend that was. I went up north to the Saguenay area with my school this weekend. Some punks broke into our bus (fortunately nothing beyond food was missing) and busted a window (on the back door) to do so. Thankfully, a guy from the church fixed it by putting a panel of aluminium on the hole. Even better, the school has another bus that's practically identical (except for the transmission), and this second bus isn't on the road right now, so we may be able to just swap the doors and have that taken care of! Oh, and the bus overheated while climbing some hills on the way back.
I have been to Saguenay and found it to be a lovely town. But I became lost when I went to stores and no one, not a single person understood English. It was an awesome trip, sometime I will dig and find my old pictures from then and share. Beautiful town. Yeah, not too many people speak English there, but I met one or two people that do.

Exactly! I do find it amazing that one guy with a handgun took out two men with rifles and body armor. I'm not sure if it's darn impressive on the good guy or excruciatingly pathetic on the bad guys...

Exactly! I haven't used one in over a decade! Still use mine on occasion to copy VHS tapes over to DVD, mostly home videos. I have an old S-VHS Camera (one of those mini-VHS tapes that you have to put in an adapter to fit in the VCR). I haven't made home videos in ages and about 5-6 years ago I bought a "flip" video camera and it does what I need it to do -- make HD videos and it plugs into the computer and saves to an external hard drive. I need to go back and watch some of them sometime, I think my kids would get a kick out of old videos, especially ones I made while my wife was still a college student.

| When you don't have a car and live near a city with bike paths, having a bike is almost better. | |

I don't know about that. I have heard the most dangerous place to ride a bicycle is in Panama City, Florida. We have lots of bike trails here and the most bicycle deaths of any city in the US. Do I have the stats to back me up? No, this is just what I have heard people say. You hear about bicycle deaths around here more than you do murders.

What if the bicycle deaths are actually murders committed by bicycles?
