Decided to buy some new shoes, as I didn't have any good ones anymore. Walked into a shoe store, tried on a pair that I didn't like, then one caught my eye. The result is, I now wear Puma driving shoes that have little Ferrari badges on them. Don't get me wrong, I bought them because they were well-fitted and light, but they're really sweet!

I finally have pants that fit me now. My old ones are too big.

There's a new spin-off of Top Gear set in France. Should be interesting to watch, despite it being a spin-off and despite the European French accent (I've always been a sucker for Canadian French).

So I'm walking in the thrift shop today. In the background there is a radio commercial with a birthday song. At the end of the commercial i hear a big hurray cheer coming from my little daughter who is in the babycarrier on my back. I guess practicing for her 1st birthday worked.

I figured out how to make a comment to my wife without getting a contrary comment in return!
Say it when she's asleep!

Man, so even if you say something like "It's snowing out" she'll say something like "No. The sun is shining and it's finally getting warm again."? That would be tough.

Maybe not that contrary, but she would definitely have something to say, such as, "It's been doing it for hours", which on the surface doesn't sound contrary but with the proper tone of voice, which she is a master at using, it comes across as "well duh!". And yes, it is tough. You would think after 20+ years I would just learn to keep my thoughts to myself.

Humor always helps. If my wife were to say that "it's been doing it for hours", I'll use my best Scooby-Doo voice and go "It has?? I mean, it HAS!! Hee-hee-hee"

sometimes it seems I am too Christian for my secular friends and not Christian enough for my Christian friends but I find joy in knowing I am holy, perfect and awesome in the eyes of God...

Ouch!
Not to defend Afroman, but the girl told CNN that no-one told her she couldn't be on stage. Really!? Did you think all those folks came to see you perform? When Afroman slugged her she had her back to him and was trying to lean up against him, "bootie rubbing". Come on you ditz ... ANY man would react to a strange woman doing that to him! Maybe not react that violently, but they will react none-the-less. Here's Afroman, playing his guitar ... in his "zone" ... when he feels someone rubbing up against him. Then BAM, he reacts!
This is like that fraternity busted for posting mostly-nude pix of inebriated girls on Facebook. Like I told my daughter, what those boys did was despicable, but those girls put themselves in a compromising position by attending parties at the frat house and getting drunk. They are victims, yes, but they also share some responsibility IMO.

Someone named Jesse Fleming sent me a friend request on FB. As I don't know who this person is, and we live in different parts of the country, and we have no mutual FB friends, I am inclined to delete the request. However, before doing so I thought perhaps I should make sure it's not someone from here, someone who's "real name" I don't know.
Anyone?
Anyone?
Bueller?
By the way, I did notice he is friends with Janice Sweet. Hmm.

I had the opportunity today to play bass at a church that meets in a theatre. Interestingly, the service starts with the sermon, and then there's a worship time afterward. It was fun.

I have homework and I don't feel like doing it. I want to, but I lack the little push that'll actually make me get my books out and get cracking.
