The closest I would think would be New British Wave Of Heavy Metal but they aren't British. They just have that sound. That's exactly how I would classify them. They have that NWOBHM sound but are from the USA. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| No, wasn't mocking at all. They have that Iron Maiden/Judas Priest feel to them and would easily fall under that category with the best of them. | |

| NWOBHM or even "Classic Heavy Metal" would be a good description for them IMO. But labels are really tough to pin down with some bands especially "Power Metal". Even among people who really like power metal I have heard them differentiate between "American Power Metal" and "European Power Metal" because they can sound quite different. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... | The are more NWOBHM since Richard bases their sound on Judas Priest. | |

| I'm still stuck on their first three albums but after listening to this album I think the new vocalist fits in well with their sound. | |

If you have the first 3, you also need to pick up Hellblade and Desperate Night.... And Broad Is The Gate.
