Had a spirograph as a kid - it was a hand-me-down, but it still worked. Was very cool !

Spirographs were the bomb! My sister had a good sized kit of them and we all used them. You could use the pens that came with it or just use whatever you had.

Just waiting on my bridge piece to come in so I can finish this cigar box guitar. Then, it will be time to build another, and another, and another......
I think I am hooked.
I think it will be time to start recording "The Cigar Box Chronicles". I don't remember who suggested that, but I love the name!

Only if they are bluesy enough!
I'll put strings on the Padron 3 String tonight and hopefully get pics up for everyone to see.

That means you are started to make and collect cigar box guitars. I have to say that they look so funny and some are awesome. I like cigar box guitars too.

Yes ridiculous...but clever work doesn't always have to be serious. If it did, we never would have gotten Spongebob.

Man that sounds familiar, I can just hear a female vocal over that...but can't place it.

Ok, here's a place to share your artsy-fartsy stuff! Preferably a higher emphasis on the arsty side of things than the fartsy...
(I hope there's not already another thread... I did a brief search and came up with nothing.)
So for our first exhibit, here is a wire sculpture horse I made for my sister! She's been asking me for one for a long time. I just finished it last night. It's 32' of aluminum wire and ~20' of thinner copper wire.
