While the "beeded" was a typo, I could have said "beaded".  It was so humid that sweat beads would pop up the instant I got out of the truck.  Well, until the thunderstorm hit.  It was raining so hard that I had to just sit next to one cache because I couldn't see to drive.  Lightning was hitting very close by.  The wind was so strong that my truck felt like it was going to bounce and slide across the street.  There was some hail mixed in.  This went on for about 30 minutes.  As soon as it slacked off, I grabbed the nearby cache I was parked at, raced to another, and took a hike in some soggy woods to find my last one.  I was soaked!  Then, because I was so wet, I was freezing in the truck with my AC on.

Oh, those first world problems.

Dang!  The A/C is too cold! 

My truck will freeze you to death!  I think Mr. Freeze built it with the intent to kill Batman in there.

We did 7 or 8 while on vacation to Florida.  We didn't do a lot of anything except rest and enjoy the beach, a zoo, and a dolphin cruise.  I only picked up caches near things we stopped at that I had not already found.

I am doing a small power trail tomorrow, Lord willing, that will result in around 35 finds.  Knowing me, I will get far more than that.  I have to go to my chiropractor today, so i will pick up a few around the area that have sprung up since my last time out.

I found three out of 5 that I tried.  In the three that I did find, I also found 3 travel bugs.

That's always cool to find travel bugs.
We've found Sunday 7 or 8  more.

I think I have found 30 or 31 today.  I got in some woods and forgot to make a waypoint to find my way out.  I got lost for a while, tore my legs and arms to shreds in saw briars, and had a panic attack all at the same time.  It was then time to find a way home.  I did find a micro and a virtual on the way back to the interstate.  LOL

I was able to drop off one of the travel bugs I had today.

From the thorns and saw briars, my legs hurt bad today.  My arms look bad, but they don't hurt.

My girlfriend told me that we have to go geocaching sometime. This may reboot my interest in caching.

I've slowed down a lot this year myself.  I usually find 700 upwards.  I have barely done 400 this year.  When I started working on guitars and the blues album, I just got out of the habit.  I still love it, but I just don't carve out time for geocaching like I used to.

That's my mood for geocaching too.
I still like it to find caches, but we don't go for searching caches every Sunday.

We need to find a cache next weekend so we can get the new souvenir.

We tried to do a Star Wars Death Star series over the Christmas break and didn't have much luck.  We got very put out after we kept hitting DNFs.  Needless to say, I was discouraged and truly thought about just quitting caching.  I've had some bad days when I have tried over the past few months.

Well, today I went after just a couple.  I wanted to see if I could get the last of my D/T chart filled in.  Well, after seven years of geocaching, I have finally done it!  My difficulty/terrain grid is now completely filled in.  We call that a Fizzy Challenge.

It's frustrating to only get DNFs.

That's cool you have completed your difficulty/terrain now.

I keep seeing D/T as "distance over time" or speed. Well done Alldat!

In a sense, I guess it could be.  I did a lot of distance over time to get all these caches!

We've found two caches on Sunday.
We saw other geocachers searching and helped them.
It was a 5 star for terrain cache.

How was the terrain as such? Muddy, steep, shark-infested?

I am leaving for a youth pastor's conference in Chattanooga this weekend and hope to grab a couple of quick caches before leaving town.  Here's hoping I fall in love with this crazy sport all over again.

On my weekend trip to Chattanooga for a youth pastor's conference, I was able to take a few minutes here and there to cache.  I found 10 this weekend.
