| Here's some ROCK worship for you! Worth Dying For has signed with Integrity Music, but they carry the modern sound of a band like Skillet. Check out their MySpace page! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Worth Dying For is really great rockin' worship music. A Keytar is that a new instrument or a mix between a guitar and a keyboard? Sounds very interesting a keytar. Listening now.
I think there's a lot of cool rockin' modern worship out now.

Keytars have been around since the 80's. They are traditional keyboards in every sense of the world. But, they are held by a strap around the neck like a guitar. The keyboard player for Petra used one quite a bit. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

No. Keytar is 80's, as 80's as a tail, curly mullet, parachute pants, uni-sex headbands, leg warmers, (fill in the blank ).....

| Yeah, a lot of rock bands in the 80's with keyboard players used Keytars. It gave the player a chance to move around the stage like a guitarist. Like I said, Petra's John Lawry used one quite a bit. Whiteheart also used them. Mylon LeFevere & Broken Heart also used Keytars. They were more common back then, though. Nowadays, most people just think that they look silly. For myself, I don't really care. If the keyboard player can get the sound he wants out of one, then go for it.

| You could add Eddie Degarmo from Degarmo & Key to that list as well. My intention wasn't to make fun of any musician using a keytar, but they still make snicker (sorry I can't help it). I hear they are actually rather difficult to play. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
