When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A basketball player. Then I realized i'm short, slow and can't jump.

Pro Football player. I was told I wasn't going to be big enough. Now I see guys my size who are playing.

Then I wanted to be a Rock -N- Roll Star. I'd still rather play music than football.

Depends... For a long time I wanted to be a police officer. As a teen, I wanted to play guitar and sing - in either a punk or ska-punk band (that'd still be fun...). For about as long as I can remember (even now) I've wanted to be a novelist.

I wanted to be a lot of things when I was a kid. Started out wanting to be a dentist, then switched to wanting to be a chef (I would still kind of like to be a chef). Later I wanted to be a firefigther and then the lead singer for Motley Crue.

It's never too late! I started out in a career and 2 years into it I discovered I hated it. However from the time I was a little girl I loved to cook. I just decided to start studying various chefs from TV and online. Eventually I went to culinary school and now I'm doing what I love!

I wanted to be a fireman when I was young. In high school, I began to want to be a novelist writing books for kids and teens. Later in high school, I just wanted to be a professional heavy metal musician. Boy, did God have other things in mind! LOL
