| Even amazon.ca is a lot more expensive to buy/ship than amazon.com. Thankfully, we have a relative in New York that lets us ship items from amazon.com to her place, and once in a while we go to visit and to bring our stuff home. | |

| Bought4life, I've had issues with Amazon. When I ordered "O God Save Us All" from Disciple, I expected the CD would be in the mail for some weeks. It took 4 weeks then I have contacted Amazon waht's going on with the CD. A while later I have gotten the Disciple CD. It was posted in Belgium. now that can be here after one or two days not 5 weeks or more. That's why I avoid to order at Amazon.
Christian Rock Shop can be a bit more expensive, but they really send the CDs I have ordered and I don't have to wait for the Cds 5 weeks or more.

Thank you for the response Rocker That all makes sense...sorry if I was being nosey (ok, I am not REALLY sorry)... The day you switch to all digital it sounds like your music life will be a lot simpler..although, like you, I prefer cds and don't foresee myself going all digital til I have to either |

| That's true bought4life, but I'm oldfashioned ... I like CDs. Reading the lyrics is something I like to do. That's not possible when you buy stuff digital. | |

Christian rock Shop. I'll order mine there too. Thanks for the suggestion. Just out of curiosity, what do you have against Amazon that would make you pay 25% more to get it from Christian Rock Shop? There are a few reason I like buying my cds from Christian Rock shop.. One is that they are own by Christians and I love supporting a Christian business over a big corporation (which shut down smaller businesses) that won't carry some of the indie bands that CRS carries. and two, they are one of the more reasonably priced online stores and three, Amazon charges almost $9.00 to ship to Alaska

Just to play devil's advocate (I really hate that term)...I bet more Christians work for Amazon than Christian Rock Shop. |

I know for a fact that almost nobody in Seattle is Christian. If there are any Christians working for Amazon it must be at one of the distribution centers outside of Western Washington. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

- NOTICE:::::
The Amazon download of Stryper's "No More Hell To Pay" is flawed. The track Saved By Love is only 1:18 and cuts off right in the middle. The actual song should be 3:09/3:10.
I have contacted Amazon and provided proof of the error...
They claim it came from the distributor that way and they will forward the information I gave them. I never bothered contacted Amazon about the problem. But I got an email this morning telling me that I have a download waiting in Amazon Cloud Player. Lo and behold, I opened up ACP re-download the corrected track. So thank you guys that did all the work for me!

| I have never bought from Christian Rock Shop. Why? So many times, I can buy a couple of discs through Amazon and take advantage of the free shipping. Or, I might be buying a CD and something else to get the discount. Of course, that may now change as Amazon has upped the amount to qualify for free shipping from $25 to $35 per order.
I like Amazon as they have almost everything. It's quick and reliable. I've never had an issue with an order that they couldn't fix. Truthfully, I can't remember having a problem with an order.
Now that Amazon has changed the amount to qualify for shipping, I will probably try CRS. Next year when Amazon begins to collect Tennessee state sales tax, I will definitely look for other sources online to buy from. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| The free shipping of Amazon is only for people in the US? I've ordered 3 times at Christian Rock Shop, their service is very good. I'm very content to order at Christian Rock Shop. | |

| Free shipping has definitely been a big draw to order stuff from Amazon (mostly movies and music...but sometimes even toys and stuff for the kids). I've only had two problems with ordering stuff from Amazon (and one of them was my fault), they were able to fix both of them quickly and to my satisfaction. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... The free shipping of Amazon is only for people in the US? Considering that it costs triple the amount to ship to Europe as it does within the United States, they would have to drastically raise prices to cover the loss on free overseas shipping. But, they also have Amazon on your side of the Atlantic. Ordering from the specific location of your country instead of the USA version might get you lower shipping prices and faster delivery. | I was shocked by how much shipping overseas has gone up. I sold a bunch of 8-tracks to a guy in Germany and it was going to be $60 for me to ship. Even with Ebay's global shipping rates he had to pay $40 to ship it. Fedex, UPS and DHL were all going to be ~$200! This was just like a 10-11 pound package. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."
