Stryper CD Live In Tokyo 1985 on Amazon

I just got this Japanese import in from Amazon, it's a CD of their 1985 tour in Tokyo. Pretty cool cd. Cover and packaging are attractive, sound quality is pretty decent (could use more base), especially for a show from 39 years ago.

Releasing company is called Alive The Live (and also King Street).

For Stryper fans, I do recommend picking it up. It's a nice piece of history..

Now for something funny....read the translation they have on Amazon (the actual CD cover has all the right spellings btw)

Is this the same show they released on VHS back in the day?  I remember having that for several years.  I think someone even created a bootleg MP3 (audio only) of the show.

The spelling errors on the track list are just hilarious.

I don't know.....I know the Alive The Live releases are sold in major record stores in Japan, and that their parent company sells official releases of art and jazz bands over in Japan.

Or maybe just a lot of confusion over who owns the rights and they are releasing it under Japan's own version of public domain?

I know here in the states in the '70s and '80s, there was a lot of Japanese science fiction released by American companies on VHS as public domain, even though it turned out they actually weren't public domain..

It gets complicated LOL 

I just figured since it was listed on Amazon, not that bootlegs haven't been listed before there, and the fact that the parent company seemed to be reputable, that it was okay to buy.
