| Back in 2007, there was a new group called Echoing Angels that released their debut CD "You Alone" on INO Records. The group was definitely a pop band, but had enough guitars to make it still rock. They would be comparable to Building 429 and Third Day. Well, they have finally been able to put out a new release. Their new CD will release on March 22. You can hear a couple of new tracks and a couple of older tracks on their website [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] . You can also do a preorder from the band. I really loved the debut CD. It's not as heavy as most of you like, but I loved the lyrics and the voice of the lead singer. So, I'll probably get this when it hits. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. | Looks like Emusic has their debut and the single for the new album.
Sounds pretty good, the new single reminds me a little (musically) of some of Decemberadio's funkier stuff.

| Listening to Echoing Angels. This band is definitely not as heavy as some of the bands I like to listen too. The songs of this band has touched my heart. I will look at eMusic to get the debuut CD of Echoing angels and will certainly listen to the songs of their new CD. I'm glad you have told us about this band.

| My pleasure. I liked this band a lot, and their songs do speak to me. I am glad to see them doing a follow up.
If you liked the songs of Echoing Angels, you might also want to check out a band called Overflow. They have one CD called "A Better Place". The music/lyrics are similar. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. | I will check out Overflow and listen to their CD "A Better Place".
You know, for me it's not a problem Echoing Angels is not having hard rock music. What counts is you like it and the lyrics mean something to you. | |

| The new one didn't come in the mail today even though we were to get these by the release date here in the USA. I guess someone in the shipping dept. didn't get that memo. I bet that it doesn't come until Friday. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. | Mine wasn't in the mail today too. Yes I know it can take a bit longer due the distance.
My modest opinion is that when you preorder a CD the CD has to be in your mailbox on the date of release. When you preorder you have to get it before the CD is in the stores.

| With smaller labels like Retroactive, you do generally get the CD before any retailers have them. But, with larger labels, they just want the pre-sales to push their release higher up on Billboard's top 200 list. That's how the Newsboys managed to be number 4 the week their newest released. They had been pre-selling the CD for months, but that did not officially count until the week of release. The larger labels could care less about you getting the product early or even the day of release. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution.
