| Some more good Christian Rock I cam across: Like this band. The first song on the myspace page may start out a little slow but it really builds toward the end. Also the song "waiting" sounds like what Even..The Amy Lee Band would sound like if they did worship music; www.myspace.com/shatteredview Another cool rock/worship band in the vien of Building429 , Jeremy Camp.: http://www.myspace.com/fridayscry Pretty cool Modern Rock www.myspace.com/raisingdaybreak Really like these guy's version of "Heart of Worship" http://www.myspace.com/echoafter | |

| That Friday's Cry sounds like Bart Millard from Mercy Me singing for Kutless redoing "Strong Tower". It also kinda reminds me of Daughtry. I dig it! I'll have to try to get a couple of their full length CDs. Raising Daybreak is pretty cool, too. Might pick this up, but not until after I get Friday's Cry. Echo After is pretty good, but I'm not crazy about this guy's voice. He's got a natural baritone voice, which is a prerequisite for modern rock, but it sounds muddy. Abandon sounds a lot like The Afters. But, they should do well on Christian radio. Right now, I'll pass. I really like Fate Of Angels. I'll probably get this, too. I'm a sucker for a chick singer if the music is good. When Angie Raess gets her CD finished, I'll probably check that out, too. Man, ya'll just blew a couple of months of CD buying $$$! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I already have Instereo!!! Got them in a CD swap with Topshot! Altered sounds pretty cool. Too bad that they're calling it quits.

Instereo is a band I listened to some months ago. Cool band too.

??? What song were you listening to? Most of this is pretty mellow modern rock. Almost too P&W for my show. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| I skipped right over the DSM link! They are really good modern rock in that Kutless vein. The songs "Bleed It Out" and "Dry" kick butt!

| So I have managed to check out a few of these bands. I must say that I was quite impressed by Fridays Cry. Very pro sounding. Something about the guys voice in Echo After didn't sit very well with me. Even if sounds like every other female-fronted modern rock band, I still liked the stuff i heard from ARB. I will be watching for that one. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Just found out that Fate of Angels is opening for awsome rockers Skillet here in Iowa in 2 weeks. Looking forward to that. Maybe i'll drop a line to them about the CHM and fans. | |

| I had to go back and dig up this thread. I am ready to order a couple of these (Fate of Angels & DSM). I'm glad this had only fallen to page 2!
After relistening to all of these, I decided to wait on getting Friday's Cry. If you listen to their tracks on CD Baby, I only like about half of what I hear. Plus, there best songs seem to be on those terribly annoying EPs.
But there ain't nothing wrong with DSM and Fate Of Angels. These will more than aptly make up for the lull of good music coming out in the Christian bookstores right now.
