| Hello,
I have been doing a lot of updates to Angelic Warlord lately, including reviews of latest releases from Crystavox ("The 20 Year Mix") and ReinXeed ("Majestic") in addition to the Deliverance tribute CD "Temporary Insanity". Following are the links:
Crystavox - http://www.angelicwarlord.com/reviews/c/crystavox10.html
ReinXeed - http://www.angelicwarlord.com/reviews/r/reinxeed10.html
Temporary Insanity - http://www.angelicwarlord.com/reviews/d/deliverance10.html
I just need to warn you that the Deliverance tribute review is a bit long winded in that I offer my thoughts to Deliverance in terms of a tribute in addition to the review itself.
Upcoming reviews (in order) include Mass ("Fighter" & "Unchained"), Visual Cliff ("Collective Spirit"), Torman Maxt ("The Problem Of Pain - Part 2") and Darkwater ("Where Stories End").
I am off work this week so I am going to concentrate on the back log of reviews I have pending for the site. Hopefully, I can find time to update the Discography section as well- an update is LONG overdue.
Thanks,
Andy | |

| The Crystavox review is very interesting. Andy, I'm interested to read your review over "Where Stories End". I was listening in the car to some songs of this CD. This CD reminds me a bit to Harmony. Or is that strange?
It's very interesting Andy you always tell more over a band. That's cool because on this way you know a bit more of the band. I always like it to know more about a band than only listening to the songs.

| Yes, a review of "Where Stories End" is pending but still have a couple of reviews ahead of it. It does remind me a bit of Harmony - at least in terms of the melodies - but with a bit more of a focus on the progressive.
Also, I forgot to mention that a review of the new Sweet Crystal, "III", is in the works as well.

| All bands I've never heard from. Time to check them out.
A Harmony with a bit heavier music. I like this new CD of DarkWater.

| Dynamis, I saw this in your review of the D tribute and wanted to give you more info: - Quote :
- Don’t know much about Walk On Water except they do a fine cover of “Learn”. The group, with vocalist Thomas Wilson leading the way, brings a bluesy hard rock slant and nails things perfectly. The musicians backing Wilson are unknown but you will find a killer bass line going on throughout.
Actually, those musicians are not unknown.....well, to me. Jon Hooper is on guitars for this one, and I make up the third member on bass. I had originally wanted to do this song as Mission Of One, but Thomas approached me with the 3 of us doing it and using it as a gauge for a possible future project. I am not sure that will happen as we are getting very little response off the song. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

Thinks for the info but the packaging did not go into detail regarding the members of Walk On Water- so I had no idea. At this point I plan to revise/update the review to give credit to your contributions and those of Jon Hooper. I for one would love to hear a project from Walk On Water heading in the same bluesy hard rock direction- I thought you guys really nailed the "Learn" cover. The relaxed and emotional feel to the song really comes through. Also, the revised version of the review is now online.

| I think several of us were disappointed in the lack of info even though we were asked to submit a full disclosure of who was playing on each track, websites, etc. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

That would be wonderful. A very great idea. I have listened a couple of times to "Learn" from Walk On Water. Man that song really rocks. Chris, Jon and Thomas did a very good job on this. Rock on guys.

Thanks- I feel the same way. ReinXeed is leading contender for the most improved band of the year award.
