| In recent weeks I have updated Angelic Warlord to include reviews of new albums from Timesword, a progressive metal band from Italy, and Mad Max. Following are the links:
Timesword - "Chains Of Sin" http://www.angelicwarlord.com/reviews/t/timesword10.html
Mad Max - "Welcome America" http://www.angelicwarlord.com/reviews/m/madmax10.html
I also have a review online of the Italian progressive rock group Seven Horizons. This is one of the more critical reviews I have written in quite some time:
Seven Horizons - Seven Horizons http://www.angelicwarlord.com/reviews/s/sevenhorizons10.html
I have also done several news updates in addition to updating the release dates page. Next up are reviews of albums from Thunder Rider ("Tales Of Darkness & Light) Saint ("In The Battle" re-issue) and Lordchain (What Is, What Was).
Thanks,
Andy

| I read the Mad Max review a day or so ago when I first noticed you had posted it. Kind of disappointed to hear their song writing seems to have slipped.

| I was so underwhelmed by "Here We Are" that it is probably gonna take a great review to get me interested in new material. I think they have lost their edge. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I agree- Mad Max needs to re-focus and take the time to put together a good group of songs. But I still think they have another great album in them. | |

| I loved their first 'christian' album Night Of White Rock, and their follow up was ok, but not as good. I am also quite keen on their EP (although it wasn't rock). But their new stuff hasn't interested me, and I haven't bought any of them. I think that Dynamis is right in that they have another great album in them, they just need to make it louder, with more hooks and more open lyrics - then they'll be fine. | I don't have the EP they did after "Night of White Rock". But I agree with Fundy, Night of White Rock and White Sands are both fantastic albums.

| I spun that Timesword CD in the van yesterday during a 2 1/2 hour drive. Not too shabby, though I think the last track should have been broken up because it sounds like 4 individual songs lumped together, not one big song in 4 "parts". Otherwise, it's a solid prog metal CD. | |
