| Hello,
I just updated Angelic Warlord to include reviews of new albums from Main Line Riders and Kreyson. Following are the links:
Main Line Riders - "Wordshaker" http://www.angelicwarlord.com/reviews/m/mainlineriders09.html
Kreyson - "20 Years Of Kreyson" http://www.angelicwarlord.com/reviews/k/kreyson09.html
I updated the News Section on the sites home page as well: http://www.angelicwarlord.com/home/index.html#news
Also, please be sure to check out the Angelic Warlord links page. I revamped it by adding new sections for Christian metal related Blogs while separating the links for MySpace & Shout Life profiles: http://www.angelicwarlord.com/links/links.html
In the next day or two I plan to begin work on a review of the new Lou Gramm Band CD, which will be followed by "Back In The Thick" from Under Command. I also got in the mail today the CD from Chained, a metal/hard rock act from Sweden.
Thanks,
Andy | |

| I read the Mainline Riders review earlier today. I'm off to check out the Kreyson review and catch up on the news. Looking forward to the Lou Grahm review _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I am really loving the new MLRs. It's a solid project that really brings out some AC/DC comparisons. But, I hear the influences of many other sleeze bands from the 80's as well. Cliffy and Co. really outdid their debut and made a lot of improvements.
Kreyson is a pretty solid release, too. It's not going to be a favorite of mine, but I do like it. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| From Andy's review - Quote :
- ......But if you are going to re-record your past material, why settle for only ten songs (and just over 35 minutes of music)? Those who own the groups back catalog are well aware that 20 Years Of Kreyson could easily have featured up to 14 or 15 quality tracks. And that leads to my final point: Why not turn the project into a two CD release instead, with the first being made up of material from Angel On The Run and Crusaders and the second English versions of the better songs off the two Czech releases (that most people have not had the opportunity to hear).
Dude, I was kind of thinking the same thing. I just ordered the album (so haven't even heard it yet). But I was thinking "man this band has at least 4 album's worth of material and they could only come up with 10 tracks to rerecord?" I'm thinking it had to be recording budget concerns or something. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
