| When my dad passed away, he had a Yahoo account. I need to be able to get into it to see if there are any bits of information we might need (passwords to a few online accounts that need closing--that sort of thing). Anyone know how to go about getting his password reset so that I can access it? I have the phone number for Yahoo to call, but wondered if their was a faster way. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Maybe you should call Yahoo to tell them what's going on why you need this information. | |

| Most people save their passwords in their browsers so they automatically login. It's easy to see in FF but he likely used IE so I'm not sure if they can be readily seen or not. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| Why not just ask the person (ME) who already has his password? | |

| Uh, that may be easier yet. Perhaps some family discussion time is in order, eh? _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

Hmmm, that might work. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Actually, it did! I was not aware that Sabidoo held that information. So, I was able to look into his account. I might be able to close it now without a death certificate.
I was also able to remove all check cards from daddy's PayPal account so that no one can misuse that.

| Yeah, yeah. Then why haven't you used the knowledge and contacted Mouse House or Dink? LOL See--I have to do everything. I was able to remove his check card from his PayPal account. Also, I shut down daddy's Facebook account. I've also contacted a couple of friends of daddy's via his Yahoo account, and then I put the account on Vacation hold so that everyone who tries to contact him will get an automated message explaining that he passed away. That ought to take care of most everything.

| I removed Dink a long time ago. The stuff she used to forward to me was unfit to be seen.
