| When you have bought a new guitar is it a good idea to restring your guitar? Or the strings who were on the guitar when you bought it are good enough? I wonder if it's a good idea to replace the strings? | |

| I've always kept the original strings and played them until they are A) broken or B) 3 months old. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I felt the same to keep the strings who were on my guitar till they are broken or old. Now I don't have to restring my new guitar. | |

| You might want to talk to your guitar teacher about this. He might have a different opinion and have more knowledge about this.

| I have always restrung my new guitars, because the strings on most guitars are too light for me. But I shouldn't think it would make any difference. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Fundy Don't even start playing, because then you will just wish you could always play better. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Monday I have guitar lessons and I will ask my guitar teacher.
Fundy, buy a simple electric or accoustic guitar and start to play. You can find online stuff how to play. Or go to CMR there are lessons written by John Hooper of Unforsaken.
Hey Fundy, go for it, I know you can do it. I started 7 years ago and play better now. Good luck. | |

| Stop wasting your time. Buy a juice harp and be done with it. LOTS of demand for that instrument. | |
