We only recorded the two song demo in studio. Back then it was really expensive to record in a good studio. We started to record a couple of other songs but didnt finish them before the group disbanded. Maybe I can dig those up. I am still intouch with the other guys. Joe, the other guitar player and I have talked about recording some of the other material just for fun. We had a lot of songs. He lives in another state so we have discussed tracking parts and doing the project via file sharing over the internet. The drummer Rick is now a Pastor and I dont know if he has touched a drum kit in years but you never know. Martin the singer is still singing but no longer professing a christian faith. So if we did record something it would most likely be either Rick or myself doing vocals which is what was the original plan before Martin joined the band back then. Spectra was fun. We tried to reach out to people and put on a show and share a message. We were all really young then. We played a lot of shows over the short time we were around. We played Juvenile halls, Churches,Clubs in Los Angeles, Parks for benefits you name it and we had some crazy stories. A lot of fun memories.

That would be cool, however I see it hard to be a physical release with only a couple of songs. If that's the case digital files would be the way to go. I think Cliffy (J. Powell Steinhaus) would do ao good job cleaning up any original tracks. Would also love to see some more photos from then and now.
If a physical CD ever comes out, Roxx is the way to go. It doesn't seem RetroActive is very active anymore.

Yeah Marty had a unique scream. Most people would hear that one in particular and say"That's someone screaming? I thought it was the guitar!" My wife said that too. Cool bit of info. That flyer for the Metal Midnight was the night my wife and I exchanged phone numbers and began dating. We dated for 10 months and got married and we have been married for 26 years. We have 3 kids and 2 grandkids... but we still ROCK!
The internet is crazy. I had no idea anyone even remembered us until a few weeks a ago someone sent me a link to a podcast and it was someone talking about us. They werent very flattering but it was funny that we were even remembered so I di a little search and ran across this thread. Seeing that video is funny because it wasnt put up by any of us. haha

Cool photo! Great to hear stories from the past like that. If only I had the talent I'd love to have written some music like you've created.

Great to see some of the older guys (like myself) still rocking the long hair (not like me sadly)!

I cut mine down a bit, then cut it short, then shaved it off, grew it out about halfway, shaved it off again and now I've got 4 years growth from scratch.

I know that you've had one song recorded where you were the main lyricist, so you DO have some talent. Rumor has it that another of your writings is being made into a worshipful blues track as we speak. I know someone really close to the source!
