| What are the best bands live? I think most of us went to one or more shows of bands. What are the bands who have a great sound & show live? Are there bands who sound live better than one the studio released albums? What are the band were you need to take carrots with you when you go to a show of them? | |

| I've always loved live bands. | I wasn't a Disciple fan until I saw them live.
GS Megaphone and Kwench had some awesome musicians.
Wisdom's Call, Strangeland, Ezra, Migraines, FOG, Realign are some of the great shows locally. I can honestly say there hasn't been a bad show yet though a couple were pretty off-the-wall (ok, weird). Of course, it may be because of the sound man.
Really looking forward to Voice of Glass Sat and Ilia is coming in May. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| The best concerts I have ever seen were from Bride. They were/are a phenomenal live band. Whitecross, not so much. Barren Cross was not really great either. From clips I've seen, it looks like Bloodgood might be pretty good! Stryper is a great concert too. I've seen them twice in the last five years, and both were great shows. | |

In this case I miss the laugh emoticon we used for when you have to laugh very hard. But that's not what I mean. To go to a show of a dead band is not cool. You don't hear music ... it stinks.

| Bride used to put on a great show. Disciple definitely does. Of course, they are no longer performing together, but Audio Adrenaline put on a great, high energy show. When I got to see Barren Cross, they were pretty good. Red Sea was cool, too. I got to see their one and only performance after the CD came out, and I was disappointed. Greg Chaisson had already left the band. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I just saw Skillet a few weeks back. They put on an amazing show. I have seen them at least 8 times and they get better and better. You should definitley check out the Comatose tour if it comes in your area. Disciple is awsome live as well. Saw them twice and the last time I saw them they rocked the church and crowed. Old school wise I have seen Stryper,Guardian,WhiteCross and Bride once. They ended up breaking the stage and didn't get to finish their last few songs. All of those bands were/are great in concert. Saw Holy Soldier with about 100 other people a few years back. They didn't play till midnight but put on an excellant concert. Would like to have seen them with Steven Patrick or Eric Wayne, but oh well. Alldat, man you were lucky to see Red Sea. I went to Kansas city to see the Tamplin tour in which Red Sea was to play but they were not there. It was Tamplin/LoveWar/Greg x Volz/and some other band. Tamplin was good but a huge dissapointment that Red Sea wasn't there. I must say thou that probably the best live band was WhiteHeart. Those guys were so good in concert. Absolutley loved thier concerts every chance I got to see them. Finally, even thou they are mellow to some. David Crowder Band is really enjoyable in concert as well | |

| Stryper was really good, Demon Hunter put on a good show, and Disciple is always awesome. I wasn't a big Audio A fan, but after I saw them in concert, I really appreciated their message. | |

VERY lucky. I have heard that Red Sea only did one show after they were signed to Rugged Records. I just happened to be at a GMA showcase for Rugged Records. Red Sea, Barren Cross, and Bride all three played. Paul Falzone (later became known as Eli) also played. Neon Cross was signed to that label at the time--I wonder why they were not there. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| How could I forget Day of Fire. Seen them a few times and they just rock in concert. Josh Brown is an amazing front man. One of those bands that some feel is mellow on the albums but loud in concert | |

| Seen very, very few Christian bands live. I suppose among the best ones were LIVING SACRIFICE, DEMON HUNTER, EXTOL, BECOMING THE ARCHETYPE, and SQUAD 5-0 (really). | |

Me either. They don't tend to make it up here to the NW very often. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
