I would have a festival with my favorite artists (that are stil living, of course) and would probably need the whole 5 mil to bribe some of them to play.

The lineup would be:
Michael Knott - LSU/Aunt Bettys/Lifesavers tunes
She & Him (I know, I know... I love Zooey's voice though)
White Lighter
Stavesacre Reunion show (with a few covers of Crucified tunes, and maybe an Outer Circle song or two, and Cuckoo! from the Neon Horse album)
Michael Knott - acoustic set
Brave Saint Saturn (short set so the 4 of them could play with the next band)

What about opening my own venue? That is a dream of mine... One that would cater towards Christian heavy metal but also bring in secular bands to minister to. Oh, and I'd probably couple it with a brewery too. afro

I'd first invest in lots of music related memorabilia worth a lot and put it in storage for a rainy day. Kind of like insurance (later I could sell it for a profit). Then I would finish my want lists of vinyl and CDs that I can't afford right now (and some I'll never afford). I'd buy the most amazing turntable and sound system known to man. Then I'd begin hunting down memorabilia of every one of my all time fav bands and artists.
Finally I'd begin hitting concerts all over America and Canada- at least 2 per month.
And I would consider paying certain artists to record a new album- offering them amounts they could not refuse.

last but not least, I would buy $500 gift certificates for each CHM member here -certificates to whatever your favorite music buying site is.

The cool thing for breweries nowadays is to make root beer so maybe we'd have that for the kids and folks who don't like beer/alcohol. Coffee would be a good idea too. Bouncing smiley

I would put on a festival and fly each chm member and family to the festival and the bands would be each members favorite band...And I would also invite a few bands that dont play often in the states to perform as well...

Then I would build a recording studio that is top of the line and decorate it with tons of memorabilia..I would hire the studio out to any band who wanted to make an album at a rate of $100 a day...Any bands who were recording their first album would not be charged at all...

I would seek out and buy a few rare pieces I am looking for... and I would buy and give away tons of cool metal to all my friends...

I want start a fund to help indie bands to make their musical dreams true.
Maybe a studio where they get a chance to release their first CD.
I want to support my favorite bands to give them a donation for a new CD.
