Migraines (no, not the band)

I think as we're all getting older we should open a new thread about illnesses and old people conditions

Anyways, does anyone here ever get Migraines... not headaches, but full blown migraines where you're debilitated and even puke ?

This is new for me. I had my first Migraine about 2 years ago and thought it was an isolated weird fluke. Didn't have another one for 2 years. Now, in the last month, I've had 4 (yep, even the barfing part of it). I was given Imitrex and the last 3 migraines I had were totally cleared up by this awesome drug. Otherwise I wouldn't even have been able to go to work.

How about you ?

I am lucky I never have had migraines.
It's terrible to have migrainse apologetixfreak and I hope your medications work.

Oh man that stinks. I can honestly say that I have never had a migrane, but I know several people who get them. Very dibiltating (sp?).
Glad to hear you found some medicine that will give you some relief.

I have a friend (sweetheart) who has to use Imitrex. It works so-so. Glad it's not me.

I think public beheadings would work also.....

Yes, and also a good way to loose 15 pounds of ugly fat instantly.

Have to be careful who gets chopped though. Too many liberals would make global warming REAL with all the hot air that would be released....
