Name a Band

Ok, we all know that they're running desperately out of good names for bands (really, "Death cab for cutey" gimme a break) - I want ya'all to gimme what you would think is a great name for a band, a name that's never been used.

Let's see if anyone's got some good ones...

All I can come up with is "Annihilated Oppression" = good name for a thrash metal band

40 Days and 40 Nights
State of Emergency
Defining the Meaningless
Holiday for the Oppressed
Hypocrisy is for Posers
The Meek

I came up with a couple way back in Highschool when my old buddy and I were trying to start a metal band....

KnightMare (kind of influenced by the old Armored Saint look)
Stagefright
Bloodstain

And 10-12 years ago the same old friend and I did a few acoustic rock sets at a couple of clubs and he billed us as "The Bullet-Proof Poets". So technically I guess that would be a name that did get used.

Cool. So far I really like "Defining the Meaningless" for a metalcore band
and I love "The Bullet-Proof Poets" - that's got a great sound to it... I'm thinking classic metal / rock / even Alternative sounding.

Never heard of a band named "Seraphim", but being in medicine I have heard of Serafem - a drug with Prozac as it's base used for PMS (no, I'm not making that up)

Bahaha! Imagine a young hardcore band using that spelling, trying to be cool and clever!

"Irony At It's Best" - to me this had a deeper meaning. When man crucified Christ on the cross, they were fulfilling God's plan for man's redemption.

I thought that "Bite" would be a good name for a metal band (bite being the "apple" in the garden of eden). But I'm not sure if that's been used in the past, although given that it's a short, normal word I guess it probably has...........

There have been several bands named Seraphim.
