News from Jerusalem

Först ett gott nytt och mycket välsignat 2009 till er alla....

Vi i Jerusalem har väl mer eller mindre haft ett ofrivilligt break under den sista månaden med resor, julfirande, nyårsfirande och nu också när jag åker till Örebro för att delta i "Profetkonferensen" där den 3-5:e januari. Kanske 2009 blir det mest omvälvande året vi sett... 2008 var i varje fall det för mej och min familj, där vi fått se hur Gud reser upp en "arme" av lärjungar inför den tid som nu är här tror jag...

Radikalt lärjungaskap är det enda som kan vända på dom trender och den tillbakagång som Kristi kropp haft de senaste decennierna i Sverige, och bön och fasta är nyckeln in i ett helöverlåtet liv med Jesus, det förvandlar oss helt enkelt på ett sätt som är fantastiskt.

Jerusalem har varit, och är fortfarande "en röst som ropar i vildmarken" det var det Gud gav mej ifrån allra första början (egentligen redan 1970) och också det som bröt upp och jämnade vägen mitt igenom religiöst, cementerat, inkrökt tänkande och kontroll, där texterna talade om saker som dom var, (säj som det är och du får se vad som händer) och vi har inte förlorat detta utan kommer att stå kvar på den plats Gud ställt oss så länge som han vill.

Men jag måste vara ärlig också och säja att Jerusalem är inte det enda jag håller på med, jag har ju också fått vara en sorts "fostrare eller fader" för den generation som kommer bakom mej (turning 60 next year), i synnerhet när vi samlat unga människor här i Gbg och det blir bara fler och fler och dom brinner det kan jag lova, jag är helt förundrad inför detta och det har tagit en stor bit av mitt hjärta.

Jesus var tydlig, klar och kompromisslös när det gällde att följa honom, ingenting fick stå tillbaka om man skulle vara "värdig", som han själv sa, att följa honom. Luk.12:49 talar sitt tydliga språk. Inte ens hänsyn till våra familjer eller vänner fick stå tillbaka för att följa honom.

Så jag tror att det är en tid att ge sej iväg, bryta upp ifrån ekorrhjulen, som Abraham fick göra för att finna det ultimata i Guds kallelse på sitt liv... Det är ett annorlunda, banbrytande men spännande liv som väntar oss om vi tar honom på fullaste allvar för att sedan gå den väg han bestämt, inte som vi bestämt, men som han bestämt.

Du bestämmer om du skall sitta i "institutionerad kristendom", som sällan eller aldrig fostrat fram verkliga banbrytare eller pionjärer. Om jag har fel varför har vi då så lite eld i våra liv i Sverige...? Var finns elden som bränns och som tänder eld i andra?

Bara den som går först kan bryta NY mark, och vi behöver verkligen bryta NY mark nu.
Allt annat har för mej blivit väldigt tråkigt och ointressant i jämförelse med detta, t.o.m. musik har svårt att ta min uppmärksamhet ifrån honom...

Att lyda honom ifrån hjärtat är fullt möjligt mitt i en tid när allting handlar om att "förverkliga oss själva" och våra egna drömmar. men han säger: sök mitt rike FÖRST, då skall jag ge dej allt det ANDRA. Vågar vi tro på detta och ta konsekvenserna av vad det innebär...? Ja, varken du eller jag kan svara fullt ut på det... Men vi måste börja bryta trenden av liknöjdhet och börja gå ut ur "Babylon" nu!

Jag tror inte det är så mycket tid kvar till att förbereda sej nu. Tiden (månaderna)är räknade om vi skall stå vid fronten, inte vara åskådare eller betraktare utan tränade i att säja nej till oss själva därför att vi älskar Jesus MER än allt ANNAT. Då börjar ett helt nytt liv, med glädje, frihet, och frimodighet utan jämförelse, och detta är inte bara ord utan en verklighet som funkar, det är ju det vi vill ha, eller?

I had one of their compilation discs (two records in one), and just could not get into it at all. Maybe if I had hear it back in the 80's or 90's and had "grown up" on it (so to speak) I might be a fan.

Jesus was clear, clear and uncompromising when it came to follow him, nothing could stand back if it would be "worthy", as he himself said, to follow him. Luk.12: 49 speaks for itself. Not even the light of our families or friends could be back to follow him.

So I think it is a time to give saithe away, break away from ekorrhjulen, which Abraham had to do to find the ultimate in God's calling on his life ... It is a different, ground-breaking but exciting life that awaits us if we take him very seriously and then go the way he decided, not that we decided, but he decided.

You decide if you should sit in the "institutions of Christianity", which seldom or never brought up real pioneer or pioneers. If I am wrong why do we have so little fire in our lives in Sweden ...? Where is the fire that burned and set fire in others?

Only those who go first to break new ground, and we really need to break new ground now.
Everything else has for me become very boring and uninteresting in comparison to this, even music is difficult to take my attention away from him ...

To read him away from the heart is possible in the middle of a time when everything comes to "realize ourselves and our own dreams. but he says: search my kingdom FIRST, then I will give you all the rest. I do not think there is so little time left to prepare saithe now. Then start a new life, with joy, freedom, and FRANKNESS far, and this is not just words but a reality that works, that's what we want, or what?
