I enjoy playing Christmas vinyl, and I recently purchased Steve Perry’s The Season 3. I have no idea if it’s any good; I’m a little afraid to listen to it before Thanksgiving! 😂

I don't do Christmas music until the day after Thanksgiving.

I usually wait until the day after Thanksgiving.  Over the past few years we've been having it on while preparing the Thanksgiving meal.  Ever since Covid, November is the beginning of the holiday season for us.  While we have Christmas in our sights, we also are very much looking forward to Thanksgiving.

I've been promoting We Three Kings by Joshua's Creed for a couple of weeks now:  https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/joshuascreed/we-three-kings

I thought there were more Christmas music fans in this group?   scratch
It seems like RockerVu2, Fundy and I are not big fans of Christmas music.  My wife and daughter absolutely love Christmas music.  My wife starts playing it right after Thanksgiving dinner and won't stop until after Christmas day.

I did find a fun rock-n-roll original Christmas song the other day (when I was looking for something else).  It's from a secular artist, but I'm pretty sure it's clean.

Oh my wife started playing it the day after Halloween on Music Choice. It’s a tv channel that plays music and it’s been on nonstop.

My wife usually waits until the day after Thanksgiving, which is usually when she starts decorating for Christmas.  This year though, she said Thanksgiving comes too late and so she already decorated and insisted on Christmas music while she was decorating.

Thanksgiving is finished, so now play it whenever you want!

I am enjoying two new albums of my own creation today.  I have found several Christmas songs that I didn't have redone in a metal format or were original songs by metal bands.  I grabbed the downloads where possible and grabbed the rest from YouTube, used an art AI to make a cover for each, and now I have two new Christmas metal albums.

The first one I called "Santa's Metal Mayhem".  The cover features a rugged looking Santa playing a guitar.

The second volume I titled "Merry Grinch-Mas".  It features a mean looking Grinch playing a 6 string bass.  Being AI, the fingers are all twisted up, but the art is only be seen on my Hidizs player.

9. A Lot To Be Done by Christmas - Orion's Reign
10. Where Are You, Christmas? - Valyant
11. Rudolph Vs. Frosty - Theocracy

For "Merry Grinchmas", I used these songs"

1. Santa's Got A Brand New Bag - Bear Ghost
2. The Most Wonderful Time of the Year - Tommy Johansson
3. Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End) - The Darkness
4. Bethlehem - Theocracy
5. Let it Go - Iron Cross  (if Pentatonix can do it as a Christmas song, so can a metal band)

7. All Alone For Christmas - Tommy Johansson (Theme from Home Alone 2)
8. Christmas Merry Christmas - Stairway
9. A  Christmas Held To Ransom - Ransom (not the Christian band)
