Christa Jordan - To Hell With The Devil

I don't know who this artist is (or much of anything about her), but she's obviously from the Southern U.S. and loves Jesus.
And here she is with her band rocking a cover of Stryper's famous song.

I saw this a couple of weeks ago on YouTube...it came up on my "you may also be interested in this, and we know that you will, because we spy on everything you do" feed.

It's not bad.

Apparently she made a name for herself with some song about a rooftop.

That's exactly how I saw it too. 

I lost interest about 30 seconds into the clip. I even think the band did a little too. Too much talking and mouth strutting from her.

She's trying to do a little ministering to her audience, and spread some encouragement. I see nothing wrong with that, and that's coming from someone like me who doesn't really believe that there's some devil walking around to blame everything on.

Her dad and I are old friends and she is from the Birmingham, Alabama area. They had a Christian Club in Warrior, Alabama we used to play regularly when I was in Ascension. Her Drummers dad and I are good fiends and have played together many times, as have Hunter, her drummer and I. Her dad is a Pastor,a session guitarist and long time Christian Country artist. That to Hell with the Devil video was made at her home Church in Warrior Alabama. They are most definitely for real on the Christian side. Here is a live clip of the band from another  local event here in Birmingham of one of her songs.

One of her studio tracks. I have a lot of history with these guys as watched both Christa and Hunter grow up. Kinda makes me feel OLD LOL!

She comes out of this Church, about half of her band plays in the praise team here. Also, her mom and dad play. Her dad is the guy in black playing the Warrior guitar here. Known them for 25 or so years very well.
