So did anyone pickup the second Sunbomb release that came out this year, Light Up The Sky?
I did, and I like it better than the first one. Still .... it is my least favorite of his side projects. I love his solo stuff, I love SoleDriver, and I love Sweet n Lynch. This ranks behind all of them in my opinion. At the end of the day though, I mean, it's Michael Sweet, so the musicianship on anything he does is topnotch, and thereby worth a listen to. I guess my issue with the Sunbomb stuff is that simply doesn't seem as melodic as the other stuff he does.
How do you guys feel about it?

I went back and listened to the first Sunbomb album and found myself liking it more than I used to, so maybe this one will grow on me also

The new one is darker sounding, but the songs seem better written overall. The first one was mostly forgettable.
