Ok, so is anyone here interested in this? It is a musical project with Michael Sweet (on vocals) and Tracii Guns (from L.A. Guns). I've listened to these three songs a few times, and while I dig the music and the vocals are good I have to admit at this point it just sounds like another Michael Sweet solo album and I find myself having a hard time getting too excited about it (kind of like I'm in Michael Sweet oversaturation). Did anyone else get this? Or are you planning on getting it?

I don't mind a lot of work if the songs are good but on initial listen only the middle song grabbed me. Probably add these to my Spotify if they have them and see if they grow on me.

Maybe this is Michael's way of keeping up with Dale Thompson

I think that's my problem as well. I've listened to them all 3 or 4 times and they just aren't pulling me in. Like they have no hooks or something.

The only difference is that Michael gives a quality vocal performance on all of his projects. Some of Dale's have been lackluster.
With that said, I will probably get this when it comes out.

It's a solid album, but thus far, there hasn't been anything that I can say will be among my favorite Michael Sweet tracks. Life and No Tomorrows are probably my favorite on this album.
Reminds me a LOT of the second Sweet & Lynch album, good but just not memorable. The first S&L had a TON of songs that became favorites and I still play the album pretty often, while the second album had only one song that kinda stuck with me and I rarely find myself playing the album. I see myself feeling the same way about this one. A track or two I like, but will probably rarely play the album down the road.

What I have heard doesn't sound like black metal. It is just metal.
