Certainly not a Christian project, but it does feature Michael Sweet on vocals, with George Lynch (of Dokken & Lynch Mob fame) on guitars. I'm pretty certain this is the third album release for this project, and this seems to be their first single. I've only listened to it once, but it didn't impress me terribly. I'm going to have to give it a few more listens to see if it's something I really like.

I kinda dig this as it rocks, but it doesn't sound like Michael's solo stuff or Stryper.

I try and just buy Stryper stuff and nothing else from Michael. He's a brilliant singer, but sometimes if you have too much it all sounds the same, even if musically it's different. So, I've got some of his solo albums, but none of his Lynch albums. I guess it all comes down to personal taste.

I have and like all 3 of the Sweet & Lynch albums.
The first one is a masterpiece and has some incredible tunes (The Wish, Dying Rose, Time Will Tell, September, Strength In Numbers, and my favorite track..Only To Rise).
The second is a solid album but nothing that I fell in love with. Still an enjoyable listen. Live To Die or Afterlife would be my favorite.
This 3rd album (Heart & Sacrifice) is MUCH better than their second release. Some really nice tracks. My favorites are Heart & Sacrifice, Where I Have To Go, Leaving It All Behind, You'll Never Be Alone (my favorite), Will It Ever Change and It's Time To Believe)

See I really liked that first album, but the second one left me feeling flat. I was going to totally pass on the third album without even listening to all of it... now thanks to your glowing recommendation I'm at least going to have to give it a shot.

Hahahaha....I wouldn't "purposely" lead you astray, my friend. I think our musical tastes are pretty similar. I just find this 3rd album to be very enjoyable, and I love how Michael uses his voice in it.
This is my favorite track..You'll Never Be Alone
