Subject: The Triple Ace Band....How Did I Miss This Sun Mar 27, 2022 1:29 pm
So apparently there was a short demo cassette released in the early 90's from a California group by the name of "The Triple Ace Band". It is only 4 songs and the two I have heard are very "Southern Rock" sounding. Apparently Roxx reissued it on CD along with a bonus interview. Apparently only 30 of the 100 CDs where available for sale at Roxx (I think in 2021) and they are all sold out. Had I known about this I just might have gotten it (hard to pay $13 + shipping for only 4 songs)...these two tracks I could find sound great. As a matter of fact I could totally hear Big Chris & D'BBB in this first track (man I wish we could get a new BC&D'BBB album...even if only an EP...even digitally...but I digress). Check these songs out and let me know what you think.
Oh an interesting aside Roger Dale Martin (Emerald, Vengeance Rising) is credited with playing lead guitar on this demo.
