So I flew my wife and mother (and myself) to Eastern Washington last week for the Wedding of my son and his fiancé (Jason & Abbey). They had been engaged for a year (together for two years) and were both very excited about getting married.
They have no money to speak of, and wanted to get married in one of their favorite places "Dry Falls" State Park. So they got a marriage license and talked some idiot into getting ordained so he could marry them. It was a neat little ceremony and I was thrilled (yet incredibly nervous) to be there. My wife served as the photographer and the bride posted several pictures on her facebook account. I thought I would share some of them with you guys.
Sadly neither one of them are believers, but they had no problem letting my pray over them (which was great).

Simply sublime. I wish your son and his bride all the happiness in the world, and to the rest of you as well!

Congratulations to them both. That bottom photo is brilliant. Lovely to see you praying over them, and I hope that it opens their hearts to the Gospel.

Nice. We had a simple ceremony (blue jeans and matching t-shirts) in a state park as well.

Congratulations Gary with the wedding of Jason & Abbey. Is it really 11 years ago that I saw Jason and Nick climbing in our camper when wh have met each other?
I wish Jason and Abbey all the best for their marriage.

They were pretty young when they met you and Aart. It's kind of surprising to see how far they have come.

I remeber how small your sons were 11 years ago. Both grew up to nice young men.

Thank you friend. You want to know something funny. My youngest kid wants to get married now (at the end of the year). So my wife and his future mother-in-law are working on planning that right now.

Quick question… how “old” is your youngest?

Youngest (boy) is 21 (will be 22 by the time he get's married) Middle (boy) is almost 24 Oldest (girl) turned 28 this summer
So the boys got/getting married relatively young. Since my daughter got married 3 years ago she was pretty young as well. Still I was younger I turned 20 two weeks after I got married.

Those are all old people compared to when I got married. I was only 18. My wife was as well. She was literally 20 days out of high school!

Well, it'll be easy to remember how long they've both been married . My Dad and wife both had the same birthday Dec 4th, which was convenient for me
