I found the album on Bandcamp and so far I enjoy it. It sounds nothing like Bloodgood and is not metal. It is described at New Wave but to me it sounds like 80's style Beatles or The Monkees. I'm going to listen to the whole thing on Bandcamp and might purchase it.

I saw that in my many emails from Girder and wondered who was in that band.

Oh and they are also reissuing Bloodgood Dangerously Close. Has a different cover and adds the bonus track The Word (which isn't on my CD, I'd like to hear their take on The Beatles).

I think a lot of New Wave was Beatlesque and you're right, this fits right into that.

There was a guy I went to church with as a kid who wore a Crystal City Rockers t-shirt.

I liked some new wave when it hit to begin with but don't care for it now. I think I am going to skip this.

I'm glad someone found somewhere to listen to it. It does kind of have a 70's AM rock with some 80's radio friendly rock influence. I went ahead and ordered the Metal Missionaries album but I'm not at all excited about having to paying $6 for shipping. I said the last time I paid that much for a shipping of a lone CD that I might be done. If it weren't for the fact that the total was under $20 I'm thinking I wouldn't have gotten it. I purchased the Dangerously Close album directly from the band at their lone Seattle show early last year, so I'm gonna pass on repurchasing that one (even with a bonus track).

Would love to hear that Bloodgood bonus track but it isn't anywhere. I'm not buying it again either for just one song. Been listening to Crystal City Rockers in my truck using Bandcamp. May purchase it.
