Finally, this is one I will need to get! I have never owned this. Girder releasing it on vinyl and CD.
Girder Records just inked a deal to re-master and reissue two albums by the Christian Rock/Metal band Bride. Snakes In The Playground and Bride - Kenetic Faith were originally released in 1991 (Kenetic) and 1992 (Snakes) and quickly became 2 of the most iconic Christian Metal releases ever. These two albums been among the top requested releases from fans. It will be the first time that these two albums can be heard on vinyl. Pre-orders for both iconic albums on CD and Vinyl will start at the end of February at girdermusic.com with release date of 5/21. There will be special packages made available for each of these releases.

Shut up and take my money!
IMO, Kinetic needs it even more than Snakes. Kinetic was recorded with far too much treble and a nonexistent bass sound.

To make "Kinetic Faith" sound better, it needs a full remix or a total re-record. There are too many effects on the guitars and on the bass. The bass is buried in the mix. If you listen to the songs from this on the "The Lost Reels" albums, they sound much more akin to "Snakes In The Playground" and "Shotgun Messiah".
Part of me wants to get these, but I have the originals. I have done personal remasters. Without unreleased bonus tracks or a couple of new songs added, I don't think that I need another version.

I agree about Kinetic Faith, I love it but it needs work.

I was wondering if Kinetic had ever been reissued before. I have both in their original format, but if the Kinetic album is improved significantly (so that I can tell, in other words)... I might be tempted to get it.

If Kinetic Faith had the same feel as Snakes, I'd love it! But I regard it as the weakest of their first 6 albums.

I only ever had Snakes on cassette. Need to get this!
They are also bringing back long boxes.

I'm going to order Snakes on CD. But to pay 10 extra bucks for a long box is robbery! I used to save them back when they were a thing. I used to hang them on my wall in my bedroom in the 80's but these days they are throw away items.
The only reason they were even made is because record shops had deep bins for records and the long box was made to fit in those bins without having to make conversions to the bins.

Seems excessive, I wouldn't pay for the extra trash.

I feel that way about gold CDs, this longbox, and trading cards. I get that they are trying to give fans a little extra something to convince them to buy a reissued CD, but none of these items are wanted really and don't add a thing for the fan experience. They are promotional gimmicks that end up costing us more for no reason.

I just noticed the prices at the site. Oy! No long box for me.
The only long box I still have put away is Stryper’s Against The Law. While I would love to add a few I don’t feel like paying the extra for them.

I've never had a long box. What's in it, apart from air?

Nothing. As I said they were made so they would fit in the same bins as LP records. Nothing more. It was just a long box with a CD in it. A couple of years after the long box stores like Kmart starting using plastic "long boxes" that were indestructible and it was next to impossible to get CDs out of them. Those were used to discourage shoplifting.

So, the new longboxes are just nostalgia? Oh well, I think I'll pass on that! I thought maybe there was a bigger booklet or something.

Nope just the CD, and enough space with nothing in it expect more room for another CD or two.

At least there is an option to purchase the CDs without the long box.

The only extra that it has is a limited edition trading card. The long box has 2 cards while just the cd w/jewel case has 1.

I don't want the trading cards. I threw the Bride one I got and the two from Trytan in the trash.

I'll keep the trading cards, even though they're not really something we fans asked for.
I hope to order the $110 package later, with KF and Snakes on CD and vinyl.

I think if they kept Dales vocals, and then re-recorded the music from KF to sound more like Snakes, then I'd buy it. Other than that, I think I'll keep what I've got.
Still, it's a cool thing to have.

EXACTLY THIS!
Well, the bass could be fixed with adding a little treble in the EQ to make it punch through instead of being so muddy. I learned that from my first couple of recording projects. The drums can stand as is. The rhythm guitars just need redone without so many effects on them. They might could even just overdub extra tracks to get there.
