I assume this is complete? If so why wait until Sept? Why not release it YESTERDAY?
It takes time to manufacture CDs and get them to retailers. It takes time to get t-shirts printed for touring. Plus, you want to tell as many of your fans that you can that you have a new project coming out and hopefully pick up new fans. So, you need a few months to build excitement while taking care of the behind the scenes stuff in manufacturing. That's basic promotion for you.
Man, I am digging the samples. The song "Divider" sounds more aggressive than classic Stryper while others do have a familiar feel.
It is a good thing that Lifeway/Baptist Bookstore is gone. I could see them easily banning this over the title "Middle Finger Messiah". Michael always has liked to have controversial titles. I will be interested to see how they spin this lyrically. The title of the album I great but I think they could've gone with "Middle Finger Messiah" as a title as well so Walmart would refuse to carry it like the last one!

I could see it happening just over the name of the band in today's cancel culture. It is just a matter of time until someone accuses them of having the name to refer to the stripes on the backs of slaves especially with this being an all-white band. I would put the LOL guy after this, but I am not kidding. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| Touring? Ain't happening in the states this year. Maybe Europe but they're talking about banning people from the U.S. I think Middle Finger Messiah is cheesy, I think I get what he's saying but it seems kind of childish. | |

| I'm not sure how much of a cultural thing it is, but in the UK I/we find that rather rude. Maybe it's not so rude in the US? Still, as Black Rider says, "I get what he's saying". _________________ My Christian Metal Website......... Silence Is Madness
