Any Trytan Blood of Kings updates?

Before I quit there, Lary mentioned something about a potential December release. I was privately wondering if that is still the goal.

I listened to the sample on their Facebook. It sounds like Trytan, but the guitar sound isn't exactly the same, and it's only Trytan if Larry is singing (if you ask me). Wink

Agreed, I am really hoping for a Rush sound.

Trytan posted more updates on Facebook today. No recent samples, although if you go to the Videos sections it's got guitar riffing, mostly solos.

Since they were labeled as a Rush clone, I would hope they would keep some of that sound but slowly strip that copycat sound away on subsequent releases if there are any.

There was an interview where (I believe) Larry was saying that the feedback from Celestial Messenger was "it sounds too much like Rush", so they changed it up for Sylentiger and the feedback was "it sounds too different from the last one". Can't please everybody. Razz

I thought both albums were good, although I do prefer Sylentiger. It will be great to hear Lary sing again, and I'll definitely be buying the album. Smile

His voice is similar to Geddy's voice so the Rush comparison is inevitable. Musically I didn't find them that similar.

We have the new Trytan “Blood of Kings” album we’ll under way. The new Emanate album & love DVD in the works and (2) more Trytan albums in the hopper. The 4th Trytan “The Heart of the Dragon” & the 5th “Decopolis”
