| Hey guys. Does anyone know a Christian doom metal band with a heavy sound similar to Mammoth Storm? | |

| I doubt that most of us know who Mammoth Storm are! | Last Chapter isn't quite as epic as Forsaken is, so ignore Kerrick on that recommendation | |

Very true, but there are very few Christian bands in the scene: beggars can't be choosers! You also might try Evangelist from Poland. https://evangelistdoom.bandcamp.com/album/deus-vult - Through The Dark Radio wrote:

This is a good rule to generally go by.

| Oooo, lovin' Forsaken. I'm about half way through "After the Fall." Feel that the vocal could be bigger/fuller on some of the tracks, but the music is spot on what I was looking for. Before that was Liber III: Codex Templarum! Whoa! Into the Pyre. Very cool. I tried a little Dawn of Anguish, but it wasn't really my thing so I moved on. After I'm finished listening to "After the Fall" I'll check out some Last Chapter and Evangelist. Thanks guys. I knew I could count on yas | |

| Cool! Yeah Forsaken is awesome; one of my favorites. Some of their albums are very difficult/expensive to track down, but they're all very good.
FYI Albert Bell is the founder/bassist of Forsaken (and Nomad Son who you might also like, though not quite the same style). His Sacro Sanctus project is more of a solo project and not "Christian" per se since the lyrics are historical/fictional but Albert's a Christian and the lyrics do reflect that some.

As I listened to it, I did wonder about that. So much so, that I asked Dr Google "is musician Albert Bell a Christian?" Came back yes. I'm still listening to Forsaken. Doing some repeats as I go actually. It's really very good. Just opened a tab for Nomad Son. Will get to that one later. Having a ball. Today is DOOMsday for me. Lovin' all this new music. Thanks a bunch guys.

| Nomad Son is pretty epic though not really pure doom which for me, is a good thing. Have you checked out the early Trouble albums? Some of the members were Christians and they had good lyrics. | |

Trouble's awesome. Love Eric Wagner's voice. It's so raw. There was another dude who took over from Wagner, but I don't know his stuff.
