- According to a recent interview Stryper's new project, is tentatively titled Murder by Pride, and will be released this summer, with a U.S. and possible overseas tour to follow.
Here is a quote from Michael Sweet: "Sometimes we are murdered by our pride, and our own pride overtakes everything else in our life and we are blinded to that,"..."So many times our pride overtakes what we are supposed to do as believers." Sweet invited Scholz to play on Stryper's Murder by Pride album, which features a new version of Boston's "Peace of Mind." Sweet expects the song to be the first single released to radio stations nationwide.

| Now I hope to hear the old Stryper sound in "Murder By Pride". With a lot of Oz' cool guitarwork. | |

| Kind of "edgy" name, like the cover art for their last album. But quite honestly I don't really care what they call it just as long as it rocks. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Looking forward to this, even though I'm still a bit apprehensive about the sound. But hey, I'd buy it even if it was a dud! It's Stryper! It may not be as rocky as their old stuff, but they sure know how to write a good hook! Fundy _________________ My Christian Metal Website......... Silence Is Madness

| I liked their old stuff, and I liked their new stuff. For me, mixing the two styles would draw a lot more of their old crowd while still appealing to a younger generation. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| The older Stryper stuff sounds still great. To be honest I never disliked "Reborn" True "Reborn has a different sound that the old Stryper stuff, but these guys are some years older when they recorded "Reborn". I am curious to listen how "Murder By Pride" sound. | |
