As for books, I've only written 2 for kids, which I published through amazon.  I've sold about 15 of both, although I didn't write them to publish them, but rather just for my two kids (one book each!).  So I haven't done any marketing or told many folks about them (other than facebook and here!).  They're not really good enough to sell many, but as I did them to encourage kids to investigate Christianity I thought (and was told) that it was a good thing to publish them.  If it makes one kid think about Jesus then it's worth it!

The book above is part of my 'adult'* fantasy series, which I'm currently writing book 11.  None of these are available, but are rather something I do as just a hobby... to keep my creativity happy!
One person has read 10, another is reading one every holiday, and is up to number 4 (number 5 going to Greece this year!)
They're wizards, witches, that sort of thing.

*adult meaning I wrote it for me, whether I'm classed as an adult is up for debate!

So what you're telling me is I'm out of luck? 

Fundy, you should at least try the self publishing thing.  Who knows what could happen?  Besides, that would allow some of us to try your books and see how we like them.  You could be the next J.K. Rowling.

I may self publish, but it takes so long to check the text.  The kids books (which are a 10th of the words of the fantasy books) I read through 10 times and every time I found a mistake!  If I read through the fantasy books 10 times I wouldn't be able to release the first one for about 3 years!  Also I'd have to change the covers so I could use the images.  Here's the cover of the first book, with an image that I could actually use!

Writing is teh shibby.  I'm on page 404 of Dreamer, up around 150K words.  I hope to have it wrapped up sometime next year.  Then I'm going to gut, excoriate, and lambaste Scientology in Oroborus.
