| I knew this was coming and I've been thinking about it for weeks. I think I'm going to have to go back and re listen to the new albums I got this year. Seems like a third of them were reissues. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Virgin Black's Requiem: Pianissimo is definitely my number one this year. I'd add Frosthardr's self-titled, Tourniquet's Gazing at Medusa, Jimmy P. Brown's Eraserhead and Mad At The World's Hope rounds out my top 5. | |

| Are we talking about 2018 albums we bought, or albums we bought in 2018? | |

| Albums from 2018 that we have bought this year. They can be new albums or albums that were reissued this year. If you bought albums from another year, those do not count unless they were reissued this year as a remaster or anthology. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Then... I got nothing, I'm pretty sure. Unless the TRYTAN uploads to Apple Music count as a re-release. Well, that, and a friend of mine released a nice indie album in the fall. | |

| My favorites for the year...
Limberlost - Volume 1 Wytch Hazel - II:Sojurn Big Chris & D'BBB - Man Overboard Millennial Reign - The Great Divide Lorchain Praise - For the love of God Angelic Force - Soldiers of the Cross (reissue/remaster...first time on CD) Stryper - God Grr Evil
Almost left Stryper off the list. Overall kind of disappointing compared to the last two, but at least half of the tracks are really good. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

The album contains some of the songs from the EPs but only a few. The rest are completely Frosthardr!!!

| OK, I've got mine. While I bought several reissues, none of those were really big deals for me. I enjoyed them, but none were favorites. Angelic Force was hard to listen to as far as sound quality goes. Malachia was cool, but there were so many repeated tracks. I cut all that out of the MP3 version. Max Blam Jam was cool, but by the end of the album all the tracks sounds the same as they are mostly in the same key and tempo.
Newer releases? Well, there was a lot I found forgettable. Who would go on that list? Sardonyx, Deny The Fallen, Sleepy Ray, As We Ascend, Random Hero, Millennial Reign, etc. Much of the music I bought this year was good but not great.
So, who made the cut? Well, I tried to do a top ten, but I ended up with a top TWELVE:
1. BRIDE - SNAKE EYES 2. Jimmy P. Brown's Erasurehead (the Deliverance album I've wanted for years) 3. Chaotic Resemblance - Covenant 4. Stryper - God, grrrrrr Evil (Still needs that comma) 5. Impelletteri - The Nature Of The Beast 6. Big Chris & D'Bare Bones Band - Man Overboard 7. Apologetix - Nichey (they had another album this year, but it wasn't as good) 8. Wytch Hazel II:Soujourn 9. Altar Boys - No Substitute 10. Luke Easter - The Pop Disaster (would have been higher if not an EP) 11. Limberlost Vol. 1 (Also would have scored higher if not an EP) 12. The Crimson Bridge Ministry - The Solution (Again, would have been higher if not an EP) _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| I've thought things over and have modified my top albums for 2018.
10. Narnia - We Still Believe: Made in Brazil 9. Tourniquet - Gazing at Medusa (would be higher but the vocalist took some getting used to) 8. Bride - Snake Eyes 7. Luke Easter - The Pop Disaster (I really like the variety that it has since no two songs are the same) 6. Jimmy P. Brown II's - Eraserhead 5. Stryper - GDE 4. Altar Boys - No Substitute 3. Deliverance - The Subversive Kind 2. Frosthardr - Frosthardr 1. Virgin Black - Requiem: Pianissimo

| Just TQT and that Bare Bones Band in Christian music.
Secular was Metal Church and Witherfall. No money means no new music.
