Anyone know status of ALTAR BOYS new album ?

In the early 90s I was a mega-fan of Mike Stand and Company, so I was pretty excited when I heard about their new/old release. With my loco year however, I wound up not following this project closely.

I thought it was being released on CD/LP this year. It seems the Kickstarter for NO SUBSTITUTE has been more than met, but no physical media to be found anywhere.

Was it a Pre-Order that only had a few hundred printed and I totally missed out ?

Yeah, it's a good album.  It really held up well musically.

Been listening to the stream and loving it ! It doesn't have the grit of Against The Grain, but it's still powerful overall !  Can't wait to get the LP and follow along with the lyrics

Yeah, it definitely picks up where they left off 

I will have to look into this one myself... I loved the first couple of their albums and saw them 2-3xs back in the day... Yes Against the Grain is a gem...!!
