Stumbled across this last night... https://jammyjams.bandcamp.com/album/once-upon-this-rock-christian-rock-goes-lullaby

Apparently a couple of guys have figured out how to make a living by releasing albums consisting of instrumental lullaby-style arrangements of assorted songs. I'm not sure whether to laugh or applaud them for their genius...

Oh boy!

I actually kind of liked there rendition of Europe's "Final Countdown" on this album.

Now if they just put out an Iron Maiden one, we could all chip in and get one for Kerrick's new baby.

I spoke too soon, it's not a whole album, but this one has Iron Maiden's "Wasted Years" on it.

I find that annoying.  Somebody has way too much time on their hands.

I worked at a toy store over the holidays one year in High School.  I heard a strangely familiar tune being plinked out on one of those toy pianos that rang a chime when a key was pressed.  I looked over to see this long haired metal-head looking guy banging out Master of Puppets on it.

I'm still trying to figure out how Owl City's "Fireflies" counts as Christian rock. Yes, the guy behind Owl City is indeed a Christian, but that song is definitely not rock and was never aimed at the Christian market to my knowledge.

This has been around for a long time.  I had a whole set of Rockabye Baby albums I played my kids.  AC/DC, Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, The Ramones, Queen...
