So I'm sure this isn't correct, but I gave it a whirl. It's a fun jam...
...and no I didn't tackle those monstrous solos (yet)!

Niice John. You rock!
Great song too. I was intrigued how they made similar melody choices between The Valley and their new song, Sorry. The choruses have a very similar feel to them, similar chord structure, similar intonation, similar melody. It's not a criticism. I'm just intrigued about the choice. I'm guessing it is to tie the music together?????

Good job on cover Jon, you are a top notch guitarist (and fantastic tone on your guitar).

Thanks!! I really just winged that by ear. I'm sure those little transition runs are wrong, but I was just having fun. And I could not resist trying to add a little more CRUNCH to those guitars. This is the best song on the album in my opinion. Love it.

This why I love Stryper. This song is so cool. Maybe ... Stryper on his best?

Ya know, I've got my issues with Michael, but how many 80s era metal vocalists actually sound BETTER today than they did then?

Not many at all, that's for sure. Many sound substantially worse For some reason Glenn Hughes (from the 70's) still sounds absolutely fantastic (but I don't know if he sounds "better").
