| Just bought Metropolis - The Power Of The Night CD, am eagerly awaiting its arrival. Classic Canadian (of course) AOR featuring Peter Fredette, the backup singer for Kim Mitchell. | |

I didn't order the live one as I don't particularly enjoy live albums. So, I got what I wanted. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| Jimmy P. Brown's Eraserhead Bride - Snake Eyes Perpetual Paranoia - The Reapers
While I have to wait for the CDs just like everyone else, it pays to have friends who own the label. I received pre-release digital files of all three. I will give a short review in a few days after I have had time to listen to these.

I'm really interested to read what you think of the Bride album, and also the lyrical content. _________________ My Christian Metal Website......... Silence Is Madness

Actually, I am starting with Eraserhead--Jimmy P. Brown's new band. This is in the style of the Deliverance albums "Learn" through "Camelot In Smithereens". So far, all I can say is that this is the Deliverance album I have been waiting for! I loved that middle era of D the most and didn't care for the speedier albums they started with or have returned to. So, Eraserhead is my new Deliverance! One song on here that is really cool is the remake of a NEWSBOYS song. Jimmy does a killer rendition of the song "Entertaining Angels". He doesn't really do much to change the original arrangement. All that is really different is it is Jimmy's voice instead of Peter Furler's, and the rhythm guitars are distorted to give it a wall of sound. It makes a nice ballad on the record, though. I will listen to Bride while I am on the way to Red Bowling Springs for my play tonight.

| Wait, a Newsboys cover?? I never really loved Step Up or LLD (I have a double CD with both albums), and didn't particularly care for Entertaining Angels, but JPB covering a song always makes it interesting. | |

| It is definitely a remake of that song. Somehow, though, Jimmy makes it seem like they wrote this. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |
