I might mention that one day I was in CVS and a group of about 5 young people came in. I was scanning wine bottles. They walked up to me and asked "hey where are the red white and blue M&M's". I said "I don't work here". They replied "Yeah but you're scanning items and we can't find the M&M's". I told them I haven't been able to find them either and that no one has the M&M's, Skittles or Tea that keeps showing up. Kind of cool to see someone else doing the same thing.

We've ran into other Shopkick users before. It is kind of cool.
Are you talking about the Red, White, & Blue Skittles and M&Ms? I've found and scanned both at Walmart. The Skittles I found again at a Target just by chance. Some of the wines are harder to find. Kroger's does seem to have the most variety locally, but even they don't have everything. So, you get what you can and keep on scanning.

Yes, no one around here has those red, white & blue Skittles or M&M's or the Teavana tea bottles. I've looked everywhere for that stuff.
Yeah the wine bottles seem hard to find sometimes and because it is something I never buy I have no idea how the store shelves them. Don't know if it is alphabetical or type of wine. So I search until I see what I need but I know many times I just over look them because most of them all look the same anyway.

I can't find the Teavana, either.
I struggle with the wines as well as I don't know one brand from another. I get lucky finding them sometimes. As a Christian and a youth pastor, though, I feel uncomfortable looking through all the wines out of fear someone will see me and make a big stink about it even though I only want the points.

I accidentally bought some of those red white and blue M&M's the other day at our local Target. I was just picking up a bag of M&Ms and didn't notice that they were "Patriotic M&Ms" until after I had eaten a handful.

I got another 500+ points out of Walmart today! I am now less than 1000 points (aka Kicks) away from another $25 gift card!

Nice!! Seems like so far off for me. But I did use the savings catcher yesterday. Not sure how that works or if we even bought anything that will be discounted but when I scanned it, it took.

I just spent $10 from my Savings Catcher and already have $1.45 in my account again.
I scanned a bunch of stuff at Walmart yesterday and now have enough points to get a $25 gift card in Shopkick.

Haven't used Shopkick since I got my new phone and Walmart is discontinuing Savings Catcher and that's a bummer. Probably because so many people were getting free money out of the deal, I am up in total to around $100 (but spent $40 when I got my new phone to buy a memory card). It says the program was for research. Big time bummer as I got used to paying with my phone when we would grocery shop. Every trip we would get anywhere from $3-$7 added to our account. Adds up quick and now POOF they are doing away with it.

Not entirely surprised. They eventually learn that people are beating them at their own game and they end it.

Are they ending Savings Catcher, or do you just get to use it if you use the Walmart Pay feature on their app? If they are truly ending it, it may be because a lot of folks didn't want to HAVE to use the Walmart Pay feature on their phones in order to get a few bucks back on a receipt. I will use it if I am buying enough stuff to warrant trying to get something back. But, most of the time, I just use my check card and forget about Savings Catcher.
As for Shopkick, I still use it. My wife has enough points for $50 in gift cards. I am at the $25 level and am working towards my next level. I am hoping to save up enough points to get a big discount on a new phone like I did last year with my Moto X4. I loved the phone and loved using free gift cards to get $100 off the purchase price!

Walmart pay isn't going away, just the rewards from Savings Catcher. I didn't use it all the time if I had only a couple of items. Normally if we buy $300 worth of groceries I'll use it and always get some $ back. I did use it once on a small purchase only because I forgot my wallet and had no way to pay. Then I remembered I had my phone so I paid with Walmart pay. I need to reinstall Shop Kick on my new phone.

I had built up $50 in my Shopkick app. I bought Amazon gift cards so I could knock some off my new FiiO player.

I put Shopkick on my new phone a few weeks ago but keep forgetting I have it and lately I don't have a lot of time to go hunt items down. I had a ton of points built up but when I transferred over to my new phone all of my points were gone so I had to start over.

Did you have to sign up for a new account or forget your old login info? When I changed phones 16 months ago, everything switched over just fine.
I have almost enough points for a $25 gift card in my Speedway app. As my wife says, that is part of my Christmas savings! She has $50 worth of points in her Speedway account.

Same login account maybe I should check it. I put it on a couple of weeks ago, scanned a few things and noticed I only had like 50 points and remember before I had thousands. I'll take a look at it.

I now have enough points in my Shopkick app for $100 worth of gift cards. I have enough for $50 in my Speedway app. It is soon going to be time fore a new phone, and this will definitely help out! I love my Moto so much that I will be getting another.

Good! So far about a month in with the Moto One Action and love it. Love the 128g if internal storage and the camera that records video in landscape no matter how you hold it.
I forgot all about shopkick and need to get it again but I just dont have the time to look around stores like I used to. Mainly because a lot of them are not open 24 hours anymore after the hurricane. I used to go into Walmart and look around about 4AM and scan things then. But it doesn't open until 6 anymore.

I am looking at that phone or the G8. I am trying to wait until February when Moto typically releases new models and see if we get a US version of the G8.

Mike, did you get the USA or International version of the Moto One Action? If I go with the US version, I do get a warranty. However, the international version will work with a GSM carrier (which I use) and has a whopping 48 megapixel camera. The bigger camera definitely makes me want to get on board with an international version.
I am trying to restrain myself to get a new phone in February. That is typically when Moto reveals their newest US phones.

It keeps jumping around in price from 349 to 279. When I got mine I think it was 279 plus I had 100 worth of gift cards so I got it for 180. I wasn't too concerned with the pixels, I just wanted a new phone and the 128G was appealing as was the action video camera. I don't know anything about the international version at all. If you go with either it is a very good phone. If you go to the review section mine is the one with 3 pictures of the phone in the purple box.
