If they remember to bring in some lighthearted comedy and truly build these characters, then this can be great. They just don't need to bring just the Batman darkness and action. Marvel has learned to build characters and even build or destroy their relationships on screen so that you feel for them. DC has got to capture that.

Neither was the Avengers, and we like it that way! It needs to look and feel real.
The official trailer does look promising. This is one of a handful of must see movies this year. The others for me would be Wonder Woman, Spiderman: Homecoming, Justice League, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

For me I would add Guardians of the Galaxy vol.2 (May 5) & Blade Runner 2049 (Oct.6).

I've gotten a bit burned out on the superhero movies.
Like Hardkore I think I'm really looking forward to Guardians of the Galaxy 2, and the long awaited Blade Runner sequel.

I will say this, while the trailer does look promising, I am not totally sold on it. I do plan to see it but will see it with a grain of salt. I mostly enjoyed MoS but wasn't completely sold on it. BvS looked good in the previews but but left me shaking my head. SS was a bit better than both. So far JL looks good but this is only the 1st teaser trailer. I will have to see the final product before casting verdict. Yet from the past of the DCCU ,it looks so-so for now.

Guardians is the only one I am looking forward to. Spiderman looks decent. I have a cautious eye towards Wonder Woman and Justice League.

The main thing I am a little cautious towards WW about is about her origin story and the fact that she is a daughter of Zeus. Plus how much they refer to and talk about the other"gods".

As soon as I read that "Wonder Twin Powers Activate" popped in my head.

With the whole mythos that goes with the story, they almost will have to talk about them. Besides, if you pay attention to the trailer, her main foe here is probably going to be Ares--the god of war.
I don't see this as any different than watching Thor. It is just entertainment--not actually pushing other gods.
